Guest MideonMark Posted April 22, 2005 Report Posted April 22, 2005 So what are they? I'd like to think I have pretty good taste in music but people I know crucify me for liking the following songs- 'Stay'-Lisa Loeb (I can't be the only one who seriously loves this song, plus Lisa Loeb is hot so the video is great too) 'A Thousand Miles'-Vanessa Carlton (Seriously one of my favourite songs ever and again Vanessa Carlton is hot) 'Automatic High'-S Club Juniors (The American members won't have a clue who S Club Juniors but the British members will tell you that its not right to like this song) 'No Sleep Tonight'-The Faders (Again only the British members will know who this band are and is it just me or is this the catchiest song of the year?)
Skywarp! Posted April 22, 2005 Report Posted April 22, 2005 I want to hate "Fat Lip" by Sum41. I hate everything else they do, though.
godthedog Posted April 22, 2005 Report Posted April 22, 2005 "total eclipse of the heart." that song rocks my nuts six ways from sunday.
Murmuring Beast Posted April 22, 2005 Report Posted April 22, 2005 I like quite a few Abba songs but would never play them with people around. Pathetic I know.
Nighthawk Posted April 22, 2005 Report Posted April 22, 2005 I have no shame about my Spice Girls/Britney/Xtina fandom, but I guess some of the boy groups in the teen pop genre are a little iffy. Some nsync songs... "Pop", "Bye Bye Bye" are pretty good. I kind of liked the song "Butterfly", I forgot who that was by. I liked Buckcherry's first album. "Faget" by Korn.
Gary Floyd Posted April 23, 2005 Report Posted April 23, 2005 "Toxic" by Britanny Spears "P.I.M.P" by 50 Cent
Brett Favre Posted April 23, 2005 Report Posted April 23, 2005 Yeah, that Nelly with Tim McGraw song. "Dancing Queen" by Abba, and I always liked "Break Stuff" by Limp Bizkit.
Jorge Gorgeous Posted April 23, 2005 Report Posted April 23, 2005 I gotta say I like pretty much all the songs that have been mentioned already - except the British ones and Vanessa Carlton. I love pop music...
Skywarp! Posted April 23, 2005 Report Posted April 23, 2005 Every time I've had a couple beers in me, I just want to pump my fist to "Livin' on a Prayer". Is that so wrong?
Red Baron Posted April 23, 2005 Report Posted April 23, 2005 What You Waiting For and Rich Girl are awesome catchy
2GOLD Posted April 23, 2005 Report Posted April 23, 2005 An additional one "I play chicken with the train" by Cowboy Troy I don't know why but the mix of country, rock and rap into one form is just so damn delightful to me.
The Amazing Rando Posted April 23, 2005 Report Posted April 23, 2005 "The Love Shack" "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" I have no idea why, NO IDEA. I just love doing that little dance to annoy the FUCK out of people.
DCMaximo Posted April 23, 2005 Report Posted April 23, 2005 I love Lisa Loeb's "Stay" to the point that I spent £11 on the album, "I Think We're Alone Now" by Tiffany is my favourite song of all time and I still love "Summer Girls" by LFO
Matt Young Posted April 23, 2005 Report Posted April 23, 2005 "total eclipse of the heart." that song rocks my nuts six ways from sunday. I've loved this song ever since I was I believe 7-8 years old. It's wonderful. IDRM, the song's by Crazy Town. I have many "guilty pleasure" songs. I'll list many later.
MillenniumMan831 Posted April 23, 2005 Report Posted April 23, 2005 "You're a Friend of Mine" --- I'm drawin a blank on which two guys sang it.
PLAGIARISM! Posted April 23, 2005 Report Posted April 23, 2005 Kiss are the best bad band ever. 'Some Girls' by Rachel Stevens and 'Love Machine' by Girls aloud both rock. IDRM might like both of those, actually.
Guest MideonMark Posted April 23, 2005 Report Posted April 23, 2005 To be honest, I don't think I've ever disliked any Girls Aloud song(but 'Love Machine' and 'Life Got Cold' are particularly good), they're all too damn catchy.
Youth N Asia Posted April 23, 2005 Report Posted April 23, 2005 "Take Your Moma Out" by the Scissor Sisters, I should hate this viciously, but I love it. Also a handful of Mandy Moore songs
Guest Mosaicv2 Posted April 23, 2005 Report Posted April 23, 2005 We Built this City Achky Breaky Heart Puff Daddy version of "Come with me" Most hippie songs from the 60's Most Disco songs from the 70's
Guest Neuro Posted April 23, 2005 Report Posted April 23, 2005 Kiss are the best bad band ever. My sentiments exactly. :-D
Edwin MacPhisto Posted April 23, 2005 Report Posted April 23, 2005 'Some Girls' by Rachel Stevens There's nothing guilty about that ridiculous thwack of bass. Love that song.
DCMaximo Posted April 23, 2005 Report Posted April 23, 2005 To be honest, I don't think I've ever disliked any Girls Aloud song(but 'Love Machine' and 'Life Got Cold' are particularly good), they're all too damn catchy. Agreed, I especially love "No Good Advice", mainly due to it's blatant Knack-ripoff backing track. This might also be a good time to mention just how much I love "Revolving Door" by Crazy Town, as well as my healthy love of Phil Collins and Chris De Burgh.
Hogan Made Wrestling Posted April 24, 2005 Report Posted April 24, 2005 "Don't Tell Me" - Avril "Lovefool" - The Cardigans
Youth N Asia Posted April 24, 2005 Report Posted April 24, 2005 I like just about all of Avril's singles as well
Rob E Dangerously Posted April 24, 2005 Report Posted April 24, 2005 "Be a Man" - Macho Man Randy Savage
JJMc Posted April 25, 2005 Report Posted April 25, 2005 'A Thousand Miles'-Vanessa Carlton (Seriously one of my favourite songs ever and again Vanessa Carlton is hot) Agreed and agreed.
