Batista's REAL age?

Recommended Posts

I though 28 to 35 was considered the prime years of a wrestler. Rock, Foley, Austin, Benoit, Jericho, HHH, HBK, Undertaker... all were best between those ages.

Batista most likely won't be a long term draw anyway because he is so one dimensional so his age doesn't really matter, what matters it that he headlined a show that did nearly 1 million buys and that the company can make money off of him.

I don't care for him at all but given how many people bought WM many disagree with me.

28-32 is prime, 33+ You decline

Oh man...that freak that used to babble on and on about that prime stuff pissed me off so much. I'm pretty sure he got banned though.

Like someone mentioned earlier, age is not as important in wrestling as in other sports. I mean, look at Hulk Hogan...he is over 50 and still looks great. Granted, he can't work for crap, but people still pop whenever he is even just mentioned. Batista hasn't been wrestling that long...he looks great, and he can work (granted, he's no Kurt Angle or Chris Benoit, but so what?)

There's a bunch of active wrestlers who are over 35 in WWE...

Ric Flair (56)

Undertaker (43)

Hardcore Holly (42)

Booker T (40)

William Regal (40)

Shawn Michaels (39)

Batista (39)

Kane (38)

Chris Benoit (37)

Bradshaw (37)

Funaki (36)

Eddie Guerrero (36)

Kurt Angle (36)

Plus Marty Jannetty coming back in aged 45, and Ultimo Dragon (apparently still under contract) aged 38.

Cheers.

So how is it we found out he was three years older? His website has his birthday at 1/18/69, which would make him 36. Also, his kids are listed as 12 and 14 from a previous marriage, and a 19 year-old stepdaughter.

Orton's injuries seemed to be caused by other guys mostly though..

and wow. Orton may very well wrestle at the most Wrestlemania's out of anyone. he's wrestled at 2 and is 24. He could wrestle another 18-20 years realistically. Taking him to possibly Wrestlemania 40. He'd be wrestling at Wrestlemania in 3 different decades. (I guess Hogan has done the same, but never got anywhere near even, 15+ Wrestlemanias)

Well, that's not an easy assumption to make, though. Orton has already missed out on one WM due to injury, WM19. And it was looking almost like a lock that Lesnar would set the record for most WWE ppv's and then he just quit.

Batista could go for a few more years, but the real question is how big will his ears get? I mean, they are already a good size right now. If he gets into his 50 and is still going strong his ears will have grown to the size of a small country.

Still no replies to my question of how we found out Batista is 39 instead of 36. His official website says 36.
