BlackFlagg Posted June 6, 2005 Report Posted June 6, 2005 Well after two weeks it's back and already great, Revenge of the Nerds spoof=GOLD~!
BlackFlagg Posted June 6, 2005 Author Report Posted June 6, 2005 "You look like Tommy Lee." "Well I figured it would be appropriate since I just found out I have hepatitis."
Vern Gagne Posted June 6, 2005 Report Posted June 6, 2005 I always sing-a-long to that Journey song when I'm driving in my car.
Mik Posted June 6, 2005 Report Posted June 6, 2005 Guess I'm in the minority. Thought it was pretty lackluster. The best parts to me were the two people dousing themselves in gas and lighting themselves on fire at the sight of Meg.
Eclipse Posted June 6, 2005 Report Posted June 6, 2005 It was a bit lackluster, I agree. Not alot stood out, though I did laugh during the parts those ppl lit themselves on fire, and then Fallon fuckin' Meg to start SNL..LOL.
Guest El Satanico Posted June 6, 2005 Report Posted June 6, 2005 "HEEELLOOO CLEEEVELAAAND!!!" "Hello Peter" loved that
Spaceman Spiff Posted June 6, 2005 Report Posted June 6, 2005 Liked the Star Wars joke, and Fallon continually giggling and looking into the camera when not in the SNL opening skit.
Ravenbomb Posted June 6, 2005 Report Posted June 6, 2005 I was away, and was already having my dad record the 4400 season premiere instead
MarvinisaLunatic Posted June 6, 2005 Report Posted June 6, 2005 The end was hillarious..who doesn't change the channel??? BE HONEST!
Vern Gagne Posted June 6, 2005 Report Posted June 6, 2005 Peter, Joe, Cleveland, and Quagmire should of been the focus of the show. I'm not racist..I vote Democratic was my favorite line.
Scroby Posted June 6, 2005 Report Posted June 6, 2005 Peter beating the crap out of Jimmy Fallon made the show for me...what? I've been wanting to do that for a long time. I'm sorry but Fallon is not funny at all. Anyways, I enjoyed this Family Guy episode through it was sorta all over the place, I still enjoyed it.
Aero Posted June 6, 2005 Report Posted June 6, 2005 There were a few laughs for me in the beginning, mostly from the two lighting themselves on fire. The last five minutes with SNL, Peter & Fallon, and Brian changing the station were hilarious, though. The middle portion was kind of lackluster.
Boon Posted June 6, 2005 Report Posted June 6, 2005 Meh- definitely the weakest of the new episodes for me. Just the premise seemed really lame. American Dad was actually better, I thought.
Art Sandusky Posted June 6, 2005 Report Posted June 6, 2005 American Dad last night was coked out while on a peyote trip.
Guest JMA Posted June 6, 2005 Report Posted June 6, 2005 I was surprised that they actually went through with Meg getting laid (by Jimmy Fallon of all people).
Guest Fook Posted June 6, 2005 Report Posted June 6, 2005 Brian's barking made the show. "I'm so sorry. It won't happen again. We cool?"
Conspiracy_Victim Posted June 6, 2005 Report Posted June 6, 2005 American Dad last night was coked out while on a peyote trip. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> "Ladies and gentlmen, Mr. Ethan Hawke!" "Up and at 'em! Time to make another awful Richard Linklater movie." "Wakey wakey, Gattaca 2 got it's financing." A trilogy of Hawke slams = winner for the week.
Guest JMA Posted June 6, 2005 Report Posted June 6, 2005 It was certainly a good idea to make Patrick Stewart part of the cast.
Guest KOR420 Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 "neil armstrong? I thought you landed on the moon?" "well uh,tape delay and uh..." *smash*
Jericholic82 Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 "neil armstrong? I thought you landed on the moon?" "well uh,tape delay and uh..." *smash* <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That was my fav gag in that episode. Saw Seth Macfarlane on Jimmy Kimmel last night. He was cool, and annoucned that fox has ordered 23 more eps of FG, though he did jokingly speculate they may be lying, as they basically canceled the show 3 or 4 times during its initial run. At the end, seth and alex borstein did a peter and lois duet from the FG Live in vegas cd. Its was kinda funny I guess. Seth seems like a cool guy.
AmericanDragon Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 The tinman finding out he was gay was pretty funny. So was Peter signing that guy's ass.
King Kamala Posted June 7, 2005 Report Posted June 7, 2005 This was the weakest of the new episodes, but still decent and still better than anything the Simpsons has came out with in the past five or six seasons.
Adam Posted June 11, 2005 Report Posted June 11, 2005 Absolutely. I enjoyed some of the gags, but nothing will beat that first episode. They blew theie load on that one and kinda made it difficult for anything else to live up to it. I just want a Stewie-focused ep now, and I can't wait for the Monkey one.
