Guest panthermatt7 Report post Posted June 14, 2005 Does anyone else find it to be a strange coincidence that just weeks after Ric Flair said in an interview, "If I were to reform the 4 Horsemen today, it would be me, Shawn Michales, HHH, and Kurt Angle. The 4 best talkers they have." ... all four of them are now back in the main event(ish) scene on RAW? Is it at all possible that we will see these four turn on Batista to re-form the Horsemen, or some sort of similar group? I know there would have to be jumps over all kinds of logic gaps (Angle/HHH, Shawn/HHH, Shawn/Angle), but WWE has been known to have no problem with leaping logic before. Anyone else see this as a possibility?
Brett Favre 0 Report post Posted June 14, 2005 This will only happen if they are pretty much killing Smackdown! for good, with the move to Friday Nights, because I still believe Batista or HHH will go to SD! with the belt. But if this were to happen, I could see Angle and HBK have a classic match at Vengeance, with HBK winning and offering a handshake to Angle after the match. Angle accepts, gets cheers, whatever. Later that night during the HHH/Batista match, Flair is helping out HHH, which draws out HBK to help (maybe a he confronted Flair before some match, or it really doesn't matter, they don't like each other anyway) out Batista. He beats on Flair, but HHH knocks down HBK. HHH gets the sledgehammer, and this draws out Angle. HHH sees Angle, and stops his movement. HBK gets up, and HHH just stares at them. Flair rolls back into the ring, to even up the odds, but all four men just smile as Batista gets up slowly inbetween them (I guess he got his ass kicked badly). HHH hits him with the sledge, then it's a beatdown, with HHH obviously winning the title. That's how I'd book it.
Guest *KNK* Report post Posted June 15, 2005 My issue is that Ric Flair should be playing J.J Dillon here and not being a active wrestler, find a fourth man who can be the enforcer(ala Sid/Windham/Mongo) type for the team. Triple H would be playing Flair naturally as he has been for years Shawn would be the Tully Blanchard Angle would be Arn Anderson ... Who would be Ole? Needs to be a take no shit ass rough ass kicker.

Guest *KNK* Report post Posted June 15, 2005 Snitsky is almost worst then Mongo. The "enforcer" needs to have talent at something beyond being a Internet cult favorite and for reasons other then the moronic reasons the internet fell in love with him. Guest *KNK* Report post Posted June 15, 2005 I know he isnt currently signed with the company but Mike Awesome after his performence should be considered to get another contract and he would fit the bill perfectly. A little cocky but just plain murders people and has a big presence like Ole, Barry and Sid. Off the current Raw roster who fits the potential bill William Regal-Is a good heel known for roughness and would fit with the "classy" image of the horseman ... Smackdown Hardcore Holly-Identity is being a asskicker but I cant see him fitting in with the other 4. Matt Morgan=Big as hell, can actually cut a promo and looks good in a suit That's three people on the main roster, perhaps they could bring someone up with a huge rub. Austin & Angle can do the "We broke our F'N necks for you..." promos. Or they can put JBL in there to be the Barry Windham of the team.
Eclipse 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2005 I actually like that idea, of a new 4 Horsemen stable. It would be a REFRESHING breeze of air for HBK, since he has been playing the ULTRA SUPER COOL face since his return.
Hunter's Torn Quad 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2005 Is this proposed new Horseman stable meant to be heels? If so, count Shawn out of it. He refuses to turn heel.
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2005 I don't understand why Shawn is refusing to turn heel. Unless he's being asked to burn bibles and stab people with crosses, I don't see how playing a heel affects your religion....
Guest seth86 Report post Posted June 15, 2005 Jericho could replace shawn but that wouldn't really work out.
Angle-plex 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2005 Any idea that has HBK and Triple H teaming up after seeing them try to kill each other five million times the past three years is a bad idea in my mind. I'd rather see HBK and Angle have a mutual respect for one another and feud with Triple H/Flair while someone else main events with Batista or Cena, but I don't even know if I like that idea very much. Guest news_gimmick Report post Posted June 15, 2005 Do these 4 really need a major angle that keeps them in the Main Event? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well if those 4 put on entertaining matches, and leave Batista to feud with a new opponent, than I would be all for it. razazteca 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2005 Its what Evolution should of been, besides having the 4 main eventing would be a good thing. They could put over the young stars like Batista, Jericho, Christian. I would be entertained in watching this 4 man power trip.
tominator89 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2005 Haven't we learned anything from the nWo. The idea of "Supergroups" isn't to put over young talent, it's to protect one's spot. If it resulted in younger guys getting some much needed victories, then I'd be all for it. I just can't see a stable consisting of HBK, HHH, Flair, and Angle (to a lesser extent) putting over young guys.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2005 As if Cena and Orton need to be put over....give me some entertaining tag matches with the big 4 vs Jericho and Christian.
Guest *KNK* Report post Posted June 15, 2005 Hell, elevate Tajiri and Benjamin into that Jericho/Christian spot and we can just have HHH/Angle/Shawn Vs Benjamin/Christian/Tajiri/Jericho working each other for awhile, and even have Edge peek in every once in awhile. Guest JMA Report post Posted June 15, 2005 I'd be interested in a Horsemen reformation--provided no Clique members were Horsemen and that Flair would be a manager and not one of the active four.
Ravenbomb 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2005 I had a 4 Horsemen stable in an EWR game that had Jericho (as Flair), Benoit, Kanyon, and Mike Awesome. I know half the guys aren't in WWE anymore, but I still like the lineup

Promoter 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2005 You know, I should get some credit for bringing this up first in another thread at least The Hell in a Cell aspect IS kind of suspect. That set up IS vintage 4 horsemen. Just to add an another rumour to all of this. I've seen reports that HHH and HBK will both be going over to smackdown. The monkey wrench is Kurt Angle is now on RAW and as some have stated once someone is drafted he/she can't be drafted back unless they use the trade deadline thing. It would open up the main event scene for John Cena on RAW with Austin in an enforcer role like monday.
Shanghai Kid 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2005 Having Cena feud with a new formed Horseman would get him even more over and after they screw him out of the belt it would make for a nice buildup/road back to the title. I would do it.
nl5xsk1 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2005 Wait ... Windham was the enforcer of the Horsemen? I thought Arn assumed that role after Ole, and only was unseated from that role for people like Sid (who were otherwise worthless). But Windham was never the enforcer. And there is no reason to create a new 4 Horsemen. Just like there shouldn't be another Dangerous Alliance. (or Triple Threat or Devastation Incorporated or Hot Stuff & Hyatt or any other faction of the past) It'd be better to just create a new faction with a new name, with no ties to the past. Promoter 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2005 I see where you're coming from, but if HHH has a big picture of him becoming the evolution of Ric Flair the 4 horsemen angle could work. HHH is in double digits already. Who knows with this creative staff, but I could see HHH actually taking over the 4 horsemen and smashing Flair's record. This is one instance where I think HHH will garner legitimate heel heat. Ric Flair stating he would want Angle and HBK apart of a new 4 horsemen would be his way of protecting the legacy of the group with proven and marketable main eventers. Cena against this group would be interesting, but I think they would have to build Cena and the group up more. I say the earliest would be WrestleMania next year. On my game right now though, I have Flair, Orton, Benoit, and O'Haire (who is getting a monster push) fighting the new Evolution (Michaels, Batista, Jericho, and surprisingly, Elix Skipper). Probably sounds kinda lame.
