How many wrestlers who had a one-on-one world title match at a PPV have not at one point been world champion, either before or after? The onle ones who spring to mind are RVD and Bob Holly *shudder*, but I'm sure theres plenty more. Any ideas?

So only DiBiase and Savage had the shot, and Savage got the win.

Slickster Posted June 17, 2005 Report Posted June 17, 2005 Ahmed didn't get a singles match for the WWE Title. Luger won the WHC, so he's out. Ditto for Farooq/Ron Simmons. However, The Barbarian and Road Warrior Hawk do count (HHavoc 92 and Bunkhous Stampede 88).
