Not hard to explain.

Sox: Favourite AL team, have a casual interest.

Braves: Favourite team out of all my sports teams, been a fan my whole life, nearly had a heart attack keeping track of tonight's game.

I don't know what happened to the Braves fanbase, but Turner Field was rocking tonight. The atmosphere on the 3-0 pitch to Andruw was incredible

Didn't take long for the Macias substitution to bite the Cubs in the ass. Ugh. They get them at the corners with one out again and can't score. You jackasses have been flying out all night, why can't you do it with a guy at third and one out?

Czech Republic...it's looking like the Brewers aren't going to even consider trading Overbay until after the season at this point, so that puts that rumor to rest, apparently.

Also, Brewers got a big 7-2 win against the D-backs again last night. Looking for the sweep tonight, which would put the Brewers at an even .500 this season...

I am really sick of Todd Hollandsworth. Murton's done nothing but good since being called up, we traded for another outfielder, and yet Holly gets all the playing time. Cubs about to waste an inning with a guy on third and no outs.

If anybody cares, Baseball Prospectus (www.baseballprospectus.com) is offering a free trial of its membership services for the next week. I'm at work right now and haven't had a lot of time to check out the once-restricted articles and information, but what I've seen has been very impressive.

Dusty Baker is such an idiot. Zambrano was up to 109 pitches through seven. Is he done? Hell no. He's back out there for the eighth and prompty gives up two runs and the lead. I know the bullpen's tired, but you can't send out your tiring starter out there when he's already over 100 pitches.

Who the fuck ever came up with the rule that a starting pitcher can't start an inning if he's thrown over 100 pitches? I can maybe understand something like that early in the season, but whatever happened to "if he's pitching well, keep him in"?

Plus, given the Cubs track-record with pitchers, you'd think that 110-115 would be more than enough, since he's already given you 7. Don't want Big Z getting to be like Kerry Wood.

The Yankees continue to scour the scrap heap: Hideo Nomo joins the team.

He'll have six good innings and Joe Morgan will be talking about how playing in New York brings out the competitor in him, the fountain of youth, and how leprechauns should bunt.

Well..Ryan gave up 2 runs in the 9th, but then Javy Lopez hit a 2 run hr to tie it up again at 8 with no outs and 2 on.

Now they have the bases loaded again (4th time) with 1 out and Mora up..strikes out and Tejada flies out.

Os loaded the bases 4 straight innings and stranded all of em (12) with Tejada getting saddled with the 10 LOB. Whats the record for most LOB by one player?
