BHK 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2005 Will Cena be cooled off? August 1, 2005 Thanks to some help from special guest referee Chris Jericho, Carlito defeated WWE Champion John Cena on RAW in a non-title match last week. With the win, Carlito earned himself a rematch with Cena, but this time the WWE Championship will be on the line. RAW GM Eric Bischoff said it was the beginning of the end for Cena last week. Will Bischoff get his way and have a new WWE Champion crowned? Will it be Carlito facing Chris Jericho at SummerSlam instead of Cena? All of these questions will be answered Monday night on RAW. Also, Mr. McMahon will have a major announcement during tonight's show. Plus, last week Eugene made a shocking return to RAW and participated in the Angle Invitational. The lovable Superstar accomplished what no one had been able to do on either SmackDown! or RAW over the last year – he defeated Angle to win his Olympic Gold Medal. Now that he has conquered the Angle Invitational, the new Olympic Gold Medalist will be hosting the Eugene Invitational. Be sure to tune in to RAW for this one. Leyla won immunity by winning the Hot Dog Eating Contest last week on RAW. As a result, she can not be voted out of the RAW Diva Search this coming week. But Kristal, Summer, Elisabeth, and Ashley are still vulnerable to the vote. Next week, the Diva hopefuls will participate in the Queen of the Mountain contest. Who will be the next contestant going home? Tune in to RAW at 9/8 CT on Spike TV to find out. So, who does Eugene face in the invitational? I'm assuming this eventually leads to a SummerSlam match with Angle. I think it's going to be a good week for my fantasy team this week. I sure hope this show is good, as I'll be there live next week.
NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2005 Is anyone else kind of annoyed that Bischoff has once again fallen back into the "Heel GM" role? I kind of enjoyed him more when he was just neutral and attempting to make good matches. The "Insert wrestler here" vs. The GM plot hasn't been entertaining even the slightest bit, since Austin's heyday.

razazteca 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2005 Eugene the Idiot Savant will face Matt Martel Striker the Lying Teacher in a battle of wits in a game of musical chairs! Will Kurt Angle get involved and will he get his olympic gold back? Tune in to the man channel SPIKE tv for another week of tits & ass, muscle head morons making challenges, and a cast of tiger beat favorites battle it out in the squared circle on Sports Entertainment #1 program WWE Raw! claydude14 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2005 That's not a bad idea; having the Euguene Invitational for something else other than wrestling. Maybe he plays them in the latest game released for consoles or an advance copy of Day of Reckoning 2. Maybe He brings out Pocket Rocket and Viscera's friend for Duck Duck Goose. Maybe he lets the Diva Search contestants have a shot at the medal. Any of these would be more believable than Eugene squashing a jobber. I know Dinsmores a great worker; but Eugene squash matches don't make sense.
Downhome 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2005 I have the Eugene deal figured out: Each week leading up to SummerSlam, Kurt Angle will come out dressed as a different person each week, using a different voice and everything, claiming to be from whatever town they are in, and each week Eugene will beat Kurt Angle. It will be "groundbreaking comedy" for WWE. By the time SummerSlam comes around, Kurt will finally come out on the RAW right before SS, and claim that he's been on vacation up to that point, and will then demand his "first" rematch with Eugene at the PPV. Exslade ZX 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2005 Wouldn't it be great if Eugene's first opponent in the invitational was Striker/Martel... And Striker won. Thereby getting the medals, and I'm sure really pissing Kurt off as the medals are now in the hands of the liar that he hates so much. Sure that would lead to something interesting. jwpeer 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2005 It all depends on where the next few RAWs are taking place at though. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Next weeks Raw, 8/8 is in Pittsburgh, Angle's hometown. Something has to go down between Kurt and Eugene there...it wouldn't make sense not to have him come out next week. Then again, this is the WWE...
gWIL 0 Report post Posted August 1, 2005 If I were the WWE, I would make sure it was known that Cena lost to Carlito in Carlito's very 1st match. Try and present him as a legit contender. Then again Carlito uses a roll up as his finisher, so whatever.
Epic Reine 0 Report post Posted August 1, 2005 I think something official will be announce concerning Matt Hardy and Edge at Summerslam since Lita is "injured" and Kane is "in jail".
Team Angle Pusher 0 Report post Posted August 1, 2005 I agree with the guy who said he liked Bischoff as a Tweener. He stood up against Triple H instead of giving him everything he wanted. He came up with the Beat The Clock idea for the Elimination Chamber match and that's one of the best RAW's in quite some time because it almost only had matches. Then when John Cena got drafted to RAW he turned Vince McMahon-mode against "Stone Cold" John Cena, me not likey. Oh and what a stupid Main Event, we all know Carlito won't win the WWE Title. He's also a fucking lousy IC Champion. I like Carlito but he just sucks as the IC Champ. My father and I were watching Carlito/Benjamin when Carlito won by DQ and my father almost wanted me to go to the next match because Carlito is such a sucky champion. Seriously, let Carlito fight a midcard Face for once and retain his title in a normal way and let Chris Jericho beat a Face for once so he looks good! I now see that the WWE has such a small roster.....
Garth 0 Report post Posted August 1, 2005 From WWE.com Mr. McMahon will have a major announcement tonight on RAW. Interesting, any ideas on what this could be about? Maybe something to do with Matt Hardy. He could announce that he's "just re-signed" him and booking a match between him and Edge for 'Slam perhaps.
Team Angle Pusher 0 Report post Posted August 1, 2005 He'll be the special referee for the HBK/Hogan match...probably something stupid like that. If it involves HBK or Hogan I'm going to puke. Or maybe he says Hassan is on RAW now, that might be an option. Or maybe it involves the diva search, since he likes young women.....Hey maybe it's about Kane being in jail, Kane will be gone for a year, yay!
