Well it's a really bizarre and tasteless angle because it involves something that in real life would be a very serious situation. I mean it's not like Nash and Goldberg feuding over Scott Hall's contract, something that could be handled within the company. Feuding over custody of a guy's son is something that in no way could ever be settled by having a wrestling match. I mean what, is Eddie winning a match supposed to somehow impress this Mrs. Crabtree into letting him have custody of Dominick?

I think it's a mistake to have a ladder match....clearly one, if not both of these guys are being built into the ME scene (Mysterio as a top face title contender down the road if he wins, Guerrero as a heel threat to Batista if he wins)...why risk the injury when these guys can put on classic matches WITHOUT these kind of garbage match stips?

Even though Rey still flies around like always, I wouldn't expect too many high spots from him off the ladder due to his weak knees. It's probably better that way, though, due to the risk of injury involved in a ladder match, and it's not even necessary for Eddie and Rey to have a ladder match when they do better without gimmick matches.

 

It's too bad that Rey is apparently not only booking this crappy angle, but apparently his matches with Eddie too, because Eddie STILL hasn't beaten Rey Mysterio yet.

Eddie has been a drug addict in his past; they brought it up a lot when he won the WWE title mentioning all the obstacles he'd overcame to achieve it. I think Rey brought up in a promo too telling Eddie he was a good person and didn't need to reveal the secret.

I don't know I just found it irrelevant to the current story. The whole ironic thing in all of this is that Eddie is actually being the good guy here coming out with the "truth". This is just a stupid storyline. If Eddie was lying than Rey wouldn't respond the way he has. Why shouldn't Dominic know his real father? It would have to come out sometime. Its being portrayed as Eddie didnt care about the kid when he was born, so he gave him up to Rey. Now hes asking for him back, only to screw with Rey cuz hes mad that he cant beat him. eddie himself also called it "his new addiction" in a promo (that addiction being torturing rey and his family)

 

however fighting over custody in a wrestling match is way too far fetched. even the horrible actress who played the custody observer said it best "you people a e a bunch of crazies"

 

and why would rey trust eddie to step aside if he beat him? he already went back on his word after the GAB.

 

 

as for why he has his mask on, well duh, if he took it off you could see how much Dominick looks like Rey.

reys wife is not the mother, the kid in the angle that is was the result of eddie sleeping with some random ring rat or something.

 

and eddie stated that he or the woman didnt want the kid (I guess Eddie didnt cuz he still loved his wife and didnt want to raise a kid out of his marriage-which ironically in real life he did father someone elses child while seperated from his wife in like the 01-02 era, he mentions it on his dvd )

 

 

and tazz and cole have stated that Eddie is using this secret to torture Rey, not that he cares, so it is being portryaed as what I said, at least by the announcers. and eddie wanted rey to hand over dom in the ring in front of everyone, so clearly he is just doing this to hurt Rey and his wife.
