What shows

Recommended Posts

I'm going to U2 in Milwaukee in September...hopefully it's good. I've never seen them before live, but when I was in high school they were my favorite band, and I have all their albums, so I think it will be a fun show.

I'll be seeing Decapitated and 3 Colours Red at Rock City in the coming month and I'll probably get round to buying tickets for the Bloodhound Gang, Cradle Of Filth, Alkaline Trio and Bullet For My Valentine too.

Not to sure on the dates but:

ZZ Top

The Proclaimers

Cold

possibly Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Chevelle

I just got down with my summer concert lineup which I think was my best ever the big names consisting of Audioslave, The Mars Volta (twice), System of a Down, Ra, Breaking Point, and John Butler Trio.

Those of you who are Garbage fans on this board, this may be the last time to see them, there are rumors afoot of the band splitting after their tour wraps up in the US and Australia at the end of September

I just wanted to report, very late admittedly, that Puffy AmiYumi was great. They had an emo band opening for them that I would've enjoyed more had they not had a bad mix with the drums dominating everything, but Puffy was spot on, doing a good mix of Japanese and English songs and playing with the crowd. They did a nice encore that consisted of a cover of Green Day's Basketcase and their first hit in Japan, "True Asian". They're well worth seeing, they have a harder sound in concert than they have in the studio, feeling more like an alt rock band

Not that the band will mean anything to most: The Butterfly Effect, September 30.
