Zetterberg is God Posted August 22, 2005 Report Posted August 22, 2005 System of a Down and the Mars Volta on September 19th.
Si82 Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 Saul Williams is at Reading correct? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Indeed he is. He's on the Carling Stage at Reading on Friday.
Dobbs 3K Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 I'm going to U2 in Milwaukee in September...hopefully it's good. I've never seen them before live, but when I was in high school they were my favorite band, and I have all their albums, so I think it will be a fun show.
Henry Spencer Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 I'm also seeing Deerhoof in December, I just remembered.
DCMaximo Posted August 29, 2005 Report Posted August 29, 2005 I'll be seeing Decapitated and 3 Colours Red at Rock City in the coming month and I'll probably get round to buying tickets for the Bloodhound Gang, Cradle Of Filth, Alkaline Trio and Bullet For My Valentine too.
Guest 5.0Fanatic Posted August 29, 2005 Report Posted August 29, 2005 Not to sure on the dates but: ZZ Top The Proclaimers Cold possibly Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Chevelle I just got down with my summer concert lineup which I think was my best ever the big names consisting of Audioslave, The Mars Volta (twice), System of a Down, Ra, Breaking Point, and John Butler Trio.
Darthtiki Posted August 29, 2005 Report Posted August 29, 2005 Those of you who are Garbage fans on this board, this may be the last time to see them, there are rumors afoot of the band splitting after their tour wraps up in the US and Australia at the end of September
King Kamala Posted August 29, 2005 Report Posted August 29, 2005 If going to see bands at small county fairs counts, I might be seeing John Cafferty AND The Beaver Brown Band in October. Should be some fun people watching.
Masked Man of Mystery Posted September 1, 2005 Report Posted September 1, 2005 (edited) I just wanted to report, very late admittedly, that Puffy AmiYumi was great. They had an emo band opening for them that I would've enjoyed more had they not had a bad mix with the drums dominating everything, but Puffy was spot on, doing a good mix of Japanese and English songs and playing with the crowd. They did a nice encore that consisted of a cover of Green Day's Basketcase and their first hit in Japan, "True Asian". They're well worth seeing, they have a harder sound in concert than they have in the studio, feeling more like an alt rock band Edited September 1, 2005 by Masked Man of Mystery
cbacon Posted September 1, 2005 Report Posted September 1, 2005 Bloc Party - Sept. 12 , The Docks Death Cab For Cutie - Oct. 15, Koolhaus And maybe Interpol in September.
Guest The Iron Yuppie Posted September 1, 2005 Report Posted September 1, 2005 Not that the band will mean anything to most: The Butterfly Effect, September 30.
