Guest Iceman03 Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 credit: PW Torch Sept. 1 2005 -We've been getting emails from PWTorch.com readers saying they've spotted Matt Hardy and Lita in public together after matches, appearing to be at least friends. PWTorch.com reader Tim Smith writes: "I saw them together at Bennigan's in Tampa on Monday night after Raw. They were both drinking wine and looked to be having a very good time together." As has been reported regularly by the Torch for months, Edge and Lita did not remain a couple for long at all once Hardy found out about their developing relationship, and since that time Hardy and Lita have been in regular contact with each other, with emotional ups and downs along the way. Hardy had said one reason he might lean toward returning to WWE rather than signing with TNA was the possibility of reconciling with Lita and spending time on the road with her full-time again.
Guest Iceman03 Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 Well that's nice, I guess Lita and Matt are still good friends (or more?) and everything is A ok, isn't that great, lol. Question? Is Matt sweating Lita because he would settle on just being friends with her? OR Is Lita sad she made the mistake and is trying to get back with Matt on a serious level? You be the judge.
Guest *KNK* Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 Obviously they are still good friends because there's no other way they would feel comfortable doing this. The fact Amy Dumas and Adam Copeland (I use their real names because in this situation, it's their real identity here in question) are no longer a couple, likely allowed Matt to be more willing to do this program (of course along with the $$$). I'm fairly certain they will also get back together. They seem inseperable obviously.

I'm sure this has been reported before, also including Edge's attempts to patch up his current marriage. Obviously, the onair relationship between Edge/Lita is entirely storyline and has been ever since they started playing it up.
Guest Coffey Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 It's funny, I'm currently reading Edge's book, and it's obvious that he has feelings for Lita. He throws more compliments at her than he takes cheapshots at Coach.
2GOLD Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 Maybe Matt just really needs a bj more than any man on the planet? Who better to turn to for one? The girl has gotta be an expert by now.
dubq Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 The fact Amy Dumas and Adam Copeland (I use their real names because in this situation, it's their real identity here in question) are no longer a couple, likely allowed Matt to be more willing to do this program (of course along with the $$$). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They were a couple? I thought that they just fucked around and now "Edge" was trying to work things out with his, you know, actual wife.
Guest JMA Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 I wouldn't be surprised if Matt and Edge become "good friends" in a few months (or they could be now). Time heals wounds, as they say. Plus, they were best friends before. That being said, Matt shouldn't get back together with Lita. He could do much better.
CanadianChick Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 Oh man, if Matt does go back to Lita, he deserves to be cheated on. It's funny, I'm currently reading Edge's book, and it's obvious that he has feelings for Lita. He throws more compliments at her than he takes cheapshots at Coach. Agreed. I thought that a bit strange when reading the book too, since he was just getting married and all. In retrospect, yeah, it's a bit obvious. At the time though, I just chalked it up as him sucking up to his closest female friend.
Gary Floyd Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 Oh man, if Matt does go back to Lita, he deserves to be cheated on. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If so, then he is the most pussy whipped man on earth

Mr. S£im Citrus Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 I don't understand this line of reasoning at all; maybe there's some sort of cultural gap at play here, or something but, to my way of thinking, the one - and only - circumstance in which that you can reasonably claim that one person "deserves" to get cheated on is if they cheated on their partner first.

Good to hear everyone is slowly patching things up. However, Matt is a moron if he hooks back up with someone willing to leave him like that.
Styles Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 In a recent Torch Audio Update, the implication was made that a large part of Matt's decision to go back to WWE was he wanted a chance to reconcile with Lita and could only do that if he was back on the road with her in WWE. Keep in mind the guy did have a 6 year relationship with her, but take that for what you will.
RepoMan Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 It's a really bad buisness idea to go out with Lita in public if this angle is going to going to be salvaged at this point, but if they want to be friends more power to them.

Fool me once, shame on you....

CanadianChick Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 Chalk filled with STDs... Sorry, sorry.
snuffbox Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 Ive known many ladies (sluts and debutantes alike) who had walked around the block a few times and indeed did have exquisite vaginas and no disease....
CanadianChick Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 Yeah, that they tell you about.

Because he'd be an idiot to get back together with a girl who cheated on him with his best friend. Fool me once, shame on you.... Bullshit. Like the old cliché goes, you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink; I can give you every reason in the world to cheat, but I can’t make you sleep with somebody else. If you don’t have enough respect for the relationship between you and your significant other to remain faithful, then kick him to the curb, or trade up, or whatever… But it’s NEVER okay to cheat. Your SO being gullible and/or a pussy doesn’t make cheating on them justifiable, and anyone who says otherwise is an incorrigible cynic and/or fucked in the head.
CanadianChick Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 Okay, first off, stop being such a brainless romantic. Logically, if someone cheats on you, why the hell should you get back together with them? Once a cheater, always a cheater. If someone is stupid enough to walk back into that, why should they get my pity when they do (and likely they will) get cheated on...again? If someone doesn't learn their lesson, yes, they do deserve to be taught it again. Since you used a cliche, I'll use one too: A tiger can never change it's stripes. If someone is stupid enough to paint over those stripes, yeah, they do deserve to get bitten. The first time, Matt didn't deserve to get cheated, using the information we have. But the second time with the same girl? Good, it's his fault for being stupid enough to get back into the relationship. Oh, and through the grape vine (IE here, I believe), apparently, according to her book, Lita fucked Matt while having a boyfriend and Matt knew about it. Turn about much? Wow, I'm arguing way too much for something that is heresey.
Sass Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 The dame here speaks the truth. That said, Hardy's a fool if he tries to hook back up with his ex-skeeze. Move on man.

Wow, I'm arguing way too much for something that is heresey. First off, for the record, I was using “you” in the general sense, not “you” as in “the TSM poster called CanadianChick.” Just wanted to clear up any potential confusion. And I’m not arguing for pity here. Whether you feel sorry for the guy is not the issue. I’m saying that integrity has to come into play somewhere. At the point in your relationship where you feel justified in cheating on your significant other, you need to cut your losses and split; cheating on someone when you could have broken up and moved on to someone else is just plain malicious. I can appreciate the karma in someone who is an accomplice to one person cheating on their SO being cheated on down the line, but that still doesn’t make it okay. Some people have very forgiving hearts. That does not, by any stretch, mean that they deserve to be cheated on. My grandfather cheated on my grandmother; she took him back, and they remained married for another thirty years until his death. My father and all my aunts and uncles were grown, so it’s not like they were staying together for the children, or anything. But my grandmother definitely didn’t deserve to be cheated on, and I’ll have words with anyone who says otherwise. I have to, at this point, accept that there is some sort of cultural gap between you and I, as I am simply incapable of comprehending the lack of moral relativity it takes to be able to rationalize cheating on someone, particularly someone that you've had a committed long-term relationship with.
snuffbox Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 Yeah, that they tell you about. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Girls lie?
Guest Iceman03 Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 Oh, and through the grape vine (IE here, I believe), apparently, according to her book, Lita fucked Matt while having a boyfriend and Matt knew about it. Turn about much? Well at first I would of said since Matt and Lita did have a 6 year relationship it must of been serious and they must of cared for each other alot. And maybe Matt should of gave her another chance if she was truely and very sorry and sweating Matt alot. But since hearing that she originally cheated on her boyfriend with Matt back then, then I think not. Your right I guess "Canandian's Best Chick", you cann't change a Tiger's stripes. Once a cheater/lier, always. She used to be a stripper you all know, it takes a different person to want to be a stripper and play with people's emotions for a dollar. She just doesn't keep it real I guess. I don't even know how see can play the role she's playing now hooking up with Edge right in from of Matt if she really loved Matt she wouldn't/couldn't for a dollar once again. I guess she really doesn't love Matt. Move on Matt, move on.
Matt Young Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 Oh man, if Matt does go back to Lita, he deserves to be cheated on. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If so, then he is the most pussy whipped man on earth <{POST_SNAPBACK}> <{POST_SNAPBACK}> LMAO, I didn't see that one coming. Bravo... best use of my picture yet. Reading this topic is strange. It's almost like you're talking about me. It's even mroe strange after my girlfriend was comapred to Lita in appearance. And I, of course, am Matt Young Version 1.
starvenger Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 That said, Hardy's a fool if he tries to hook back up with his ex-skeeze. Move on man. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'd agree with that, but if he can squeeze out some sort of "friends with benefits" arrangement, well, I'd go for it.
