An error keeps the inning alive and then Biggio, who is having a horrible post-ASB run, especially on the road, hits a homer as Wagner gives up a run in consecutive games for only the second time all year. It's unbelieveable. They're not this good.

Cubs and Cards in a close one in their final meeting at Busch. Look for the Edmonds web gem later tonight. Jose Macias finally makes great contact and Edmonds just makes him another notch on the old belt.

I hate the guy, but I've only seen him once in person and wanted to see him again before he retires. I'll get a chance next year though and I really don't expect him to be back from injury until about the 20th.

In the ninth with two outs a Bell error is inevitable, but my problem is why is J Ro standing on the outfield grass with Taveras up? Did the coaches not watch any of the games this week? All he does is beat out slow rolling ground balls. You need to play up on him.
