The OaO Arrested Development Season 3 thread

Recommended Posts

It’s been a week since my last entry. I can explain. Last Thursday, I was counting ants in the prison yard and it

was a scorcher but I remember, I started killing the ants with my feet, yelling “Die you little black bastards, die!”

I got stabbed – a whole lot.

When I woke up in the infirmary, I was surprised to find

out that my stabber was the leader of an equal rights

gang called: RAVIOLI or Rapists Against Violence Against Insects. When I went to apologize for killing the ants, I pointed out that ravioli doesn’t work as an acronym and they stabbed me again. Please God get me out of here! I think that’s blood on the keyboard. Yep, it is. I’m Oscar Bluth and I need medical attention!

Today the prison psychologist gave me a poetry assignment, she thinks I need to get my emotions out on paper and maybe then I’ll accept my new life here and start fitting in with the other inmates. I keep telling her I don’t want to fit in because I’m not George Sr., I’m Oscar Bluth! I’d like to see her survive ping-pong night – I’ve learned to do it with a smile…A SMILE! And she’s just one more person I can add the list of people not reading my blog. What does it take to get people to read my f’ing blog?! What’s more interesting, an innocent man in prison blogging for his life or “Snuppy” the first cloned dog? If anyone out there in cyberspace is listening – I’m Oscar Bluth and here are two haikus.

“Jerome”

The damage is done

Should I try to run? No, no.

I have a boyfriend

“Bitch no more”

Ceremonious

Mister rapist be wary

I been working out

"Well, apparently, mood-altering medication leads to street drugs. That's what some very handsome young doctor said on the Today Show."

"That was Tom Cruise, the actor"

"They said he was some kind of scientist."

Ratings were pretty bad last night.

3.0/5 for AD, 2.8/4 for Kitchen, and then Prison Break went up to a 5.0/something.

MNF did 10.9 from 8-9, so they conceivably took ratings away from all the other networks for that hour. Unfortunately, there's no way to tell for certain until next week.

Killer ep of AD though. Can't wait until next week as Mabry goes from intentional incest to unintentional incest...

It's funny because Maybe has been into Steve Holt since the beginning of Season 2, until her mom got in the way. Also, I hope they continue her career as a producer.

Well, she was also into Steve Holt in, like, the two episodes he was in in Season One.

Man, enjoy it while it lasts. What will it take for people to watch this show?

By far the dirtiest episode of the series last night, and one of the funniest as well. Good job to all involved.

The reaction to 'Musty old claptrap' was pure gold, as was G.O.B.'s positively pornographic line-reading of "that son of a bitch."

Did anyone else notice the writing at the bottom of the statue of the little boy who found the severed hand? (heh) "He Came."

Well, I'm so happy this shows back on the air, you can taste it.

The British Bombshell

To save money on expensive attorney fees, Michael tells George, Sr. to plead guilty, but George, Sr. proclaims his innocence and says he was set up by an underground British group. Michael goes to “Wee Britain” to investigate these claims, and meets a beautiful British woman, Rita, whom he asks out on a date. Meanwhile, Lindsay tries to flirt with the family’s new attorney and ends up being charged for her time, and G.O.B. stages an elaborate magic trick to get out of spending time with his son.

Charlize Theron guest stars, but by the sound of it, I think GOB will steal the show. Again.

Ron Howard's really coming into his own as the Narrator, "Not her, wait for it..."

For British eyes ooooonly

Man. Not as good as last week, but still great. Loved the Andy Griffith bits and can't wait for Bob Loblaw.

Am I nuts, or is this the first time they've done "Previously on Arrested Development..." I liked how they added the extra footage (George getting in the truck, Michael talking about seeing the lake for the last time), but just going around the whole thing with George being brought back and going in for house arrest was odd.

I loved Charlize Theron's acting and I can't wait for more of her next week.

I kinda like the idea of using the "previously seen" to progress the story by tying some strings that don't need expanded on.

Theron is an US spy posing as a brit to track down Sr., thus her not so great accent.
