Paul Stanley Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 Best: Worst: <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wait, Wait, The X Factor wasn't THAT bad. It wasn't a typical Iron Maiden album and Blaze's voice was perfect for that 'doomed-rock' phase.
The Metal Maniac Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 Yeah, X-Factor is probably the best of the Blaze albums (which isn't saying much, I know) and I'd rank it above No Prayer for the Dying, hell, *maybe* even over Fear of the Dark. That said, I'd also say that Somewhere in Time, as well as some of Maiden's golden-era albums (Powerslave, Piece of Mind) are better then Dance of Death. That is a damned good album though.

Slayer Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 I'm doing my own format to save space Best on the left ; Worst on right
Carnival Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 Slim Shady LP is pretty low on the list for me anyways. Encore did have that many good songs, but his raps are 500x better on encore than the SSLP.

The Decemberists Posted September 24, 2005 Report Posted September 24, 2005 the real bowie best worst i don't count anything after lets dance <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was going to shout at you, but then I saw you're ignoring everything after LD. But even then, Young Americans is a bloody good album... The Man Who Sold The World, however, is very poor - title track excepted - and I'd have put that as the worst. Unless you just don't like the faux soul sound he was going for on Americans, then I guess it's fair enough. And of course there's all the pre-Space Oddity stuff which might be acceptable for worst if the Dream compliation counts as a 'proper' album. Anyway Best Worst Best Worst Best Worst Best Worst
Annabelle Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 man who sold the world was a close second for worst album.
The Decemberists Posted September 25, 2005 Report Posted September 25, 2005 man who sold the world was a close second for worst album. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Good man. There's a lot of potential on MWSTW, but it's just drowned out by noise. The version of Width of a Circle on Bowie At The Beeb is excellent, but the album version... urgh. I can't sleep so I'm doing some more, Best: Worst: Best: Worst: Best: Worst: Best: Worst: Best: Worst:
Giuseppe Zangara Posted September 25, 2005 Author Report Posted September 25, 2005 Worst: <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Congratulations on being an idiot.
