Smallville Season 5 Thread

Weird...did Brainiac have that ability in the comics?

We left comics continuity a LONG time ago.

So far, the only thing he has in common with comics Brainiac is the alias Milton Fine. He seems to be more based on the S: TAS version of Brainiac, who was a Kryptonian machine come to life, and had a diverse range of abilities.

Okay...they're making progress.  Instead of reminding me of a 1st season Buffy, this reminds me of a 4th season Buffy.

Meh. Season four was only better than season six and seven.

Not to mention the fact that Brainiac hasn't been "Milton Fine" for a long time.

Why do vampires always have to deride people that believe the "myths" about them? That became cliche a LONG time ago.

Its Ann Rice's fault.

And Vampires became a cliche a long time ago. (Thanks, Joss Whedon.)

Maybe the whole "vampire" concept needs a break for a few years. Then when it comes back it won't seem so overdone.

Marsters kind of looks like an older version of Brainiac 5 from the Legion. Without the green skin.

I suspect they'll find a way to use the killing to fuel some super Lana-guilt, leading to the inevitable Clark/Lana break-up #98734085.
