DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2006 I forgot about Michael taking improv classes and killing everyone with a gun. That was some good laughter.
Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2006 Are we going to start a Season 3 thread, or just keep using this one (ala the Lost thread)?
bob_barron 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2006 I was thinking of starting a Season 3 thread in a few days. Michael in improv is probably the funniest thing ever
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2006 "He told me he can't show it to me but he has a gun". I watched E-Mail Surveillance and Booze Cruise last night. Just off the charts funny. When Michael announces that it's a Booze Cruise Meredith's "ALLLLRIGHT!" was grand. And next to the Jim and Pam moments in Casino Night I think Michael talking to Jim about Pam after he landed himself in the brig is the most feel-good Office moment in the shows history. "Well, if you like her so much then don't give up." That's the nicest/best thing Michael has said......like, probably ever.
C Dubya 04 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2006 On Pam/Jenna's Myspace page she has a couple of spoilers up about the first episode of the new season (although not Jam related). I forget how to do spoiler tags, but they're posted over there if anyone wants to see.
Cheech Tremendous 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2006 So what's the deal with the $18 Circuit City thing? Their ad says $29.99. Did they lower the price? Is it some sort of mistake? If it's for real I will swing over and get it this morning.

Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2006 I love the parking lot scene on Casino Night because there's so many subtle things that you don't usually catch on first viewing. Like right after Jim drops hiw "Sorry I misinterpreted our friendship" line and walks away Pam starts playing with her wedding ring. I just finished watching all of The Accountants webisodes and they worked well but the ending fell flat. I did enjoy Oscar and Kevin teasing Angela about Roy, hopefully that will be a part of season three. And based on the PSA's are we to believe that Ryan made a sex tape of him and Kelly? Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted September 16, 2006 I'm halfway through the set at this point and since I've only seen maybe four or five of these so far, it's been a delight. Having re-watched a lot of Season One last week, it's amazing how much the show grew in a year's time. The first season's enjoyable, but not what I'd show someone were I trying to sell them on it. Some of the episodes in Season Two are just brilliant. They don't just bring the laughs, but some touching elements that don't feel hokey. I love how Michael, who everyone has a right to dislike, can come off like a complete ass one moment and be someone you genuinely feel sorry for another (i.e. the end of the Halloween episode). DMann2003 0 Report post Posted September 16, 2006 I picked up the Dunder-Mifflin gift set from Best Buy, cause it's a pretty good deal if you didn't have season 1. Both sets for 42.99, plus some stuff like Dunder Mifflin notepads and pst-its, but both seasons for that price is a good deal.
DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted September 16, 2006 I have a Dunder Mifflin / World's Best Boss mug from the NBC store. They had lots of Dwight bobbleheads on display when I was there, too (this would be May). Now the commentary tracks lead me to believe there are none. Oh well. Downhome 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2006 Here are a couple of possible spoilers for the upcoming season of The Office. If this is well known stuff, then just ignore it, and as always I suppose this could just be stuff to throw everyone off: -On Jenna/Pam's MySpace blog, she posted some pictures on the set. One one of them you could see that Roy had a wedding ring on. When people posted comments pointing it out, the picture was replaced with one that was photoshopped and had his fingers sorta cut off. - To see a picture from the second episode (The Convention) of the upcoming season, click here. I'm not even going to bother explaining the spoiler in this one.
Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2006 Oh, man, that pic looks great. Can't wait to see how that pays off.
treble 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2006 My guess: He comes back to Scranton eventually as Assistant Regional Manager. And gets the conference room for his office.
Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2006 His name tag just says "sales associate", though. Looks like it's just Jim, Michael, & Dwight attending some sort of paper suppliers conference.
Downhome 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2006 "Yeah, I went hunting once... shot the deer in the leg... had to kill it with a shovel... took about an hour... why do you ask?" - Michael I loved that from the Halloween episode also. On the new DVD set, there is about 2 minutes of deleted scenes that extend that one line. My favorite line is: "It's hard to hit another living thing in the face with a shovel for an about an hour." They should have kept that one it, it's fantastic, just the way he says it.
Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted September 19, 2006 I missed the first episode of the season. Someone post the spoilers, please.

The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted September 19, 2006 The deleted scenes on this set are the best special feature I've ever seen. They're like great new episodes.
The Mandarin 0 Report post Posted September 19, 2006 Best Buy told me that they were "widespread sold out" of the DVD or something when I went last week and now, while I'm waiting for them to deliver it after copping out and placing an order, I see them everywhere. Fucking guy. EDIT: I'm glad everyone's enjoying it though, I don't remember being too captivated by the first season deleted scenes but it sounds different this year. Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted September 19, 2006 The bulk of the deleted material on this set was obviously cut because of time constraints, because a lot of it is as funny as what was left in.
Jebus 0 Report post Posted September 20, 2006 The deleted scenes on this set are the best special feature I've ever seen. They're like great new episodes. INDEED! What got cut is just as awesome as what made it into the show. It's a shame that ANY OF IT had to get cut...damn time constraints! I probably said "Damn, I wish they would've kept that in...IT'S GOLD!" about two dozen times.
Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted September 20, 2006 After watching the complete second season in six days, I'm finding myself trying to restraint laughter in public when I suddenly think of something from the show. The Office is probably making people think I'm mildly retarded.
bob_barron 0 Report post Posted September 20, 2006 Same here. I'm racing through Season 2- started it Monday afternoon and am on Disc 4.
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted September 20, 2006 "Next thing you know, somebodys calling the cops to come to the neighbors house because of the smell. Neighbors hanged himself due to lack of recognition." I think The Dundies might be my favourite of the season, along with Booze Cruise and Casino Night. The Mandarin 0 Report post Posted September 20, 2006 I'm trying to motor through the set in time for the premiere (I'm going to be exhausted come tomorrow morning). I got it today and just finished disc one. Great, great stuff. I've seen all the episodes multiple times but there's still some stuff I didn't remember that made me laugh hard-- Michael kicking at the ground out of boredom after waiting for the rest of the staff to evacuate the building, Michael saying "The ceiling seems lower than it did last week" and Nancy Walls' fantastic expression on her face. You gotta feel for Michael during Office Olympics and Hallowe'en, especially near the end of Olympics when he's brought to tears. Of course, he comes off as a complete prick in The Fight, but still. The deleted scene where Jim finds Dwight's wallet was a bit much though. "Should I cut them up, or...?" He could have just anonymously dropped the wallet on his desk and gone about another way of messing with him for the day. What a shitty thing to do.
