The Czech Republic Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 His character just seems too forced to me. bahahahahahah
bob_barron Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 His character just seems too forced to me. Not something anyone can really relate to or identify with, and that will be his downfall. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> rawmvp needs to understand that he can't post like that Russian girl story never happened. His character just seems too forced to me. bahahahahahah I just got that.
Guest rawmvp Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 His character just seems too forced to me. bahahahahahah <{POST_SNAPBACK}> LOL
Scroby Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 There's a lot I want to say right now about RAWMVP's threads but I can't because I don't want to get in trouble. But he should finish his story just so he'll stop bitching about small things.....btw Kennedy is awesome. He's not being forced apon us, he's a good mid-carder, he's not boring at all, and he's not being pushed to the moon. If you don't like him, don't watch him. He isn't on tv for that long, maybe 10 minutes top, if you don't like him don't watch, don't start a pointless thread that could have probably been said somewhere else.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 I still mark out for the intro..with the old fashioned lowered from the roof mic, and even doing the "This match is scheduled for one fall....with a 20 minute time limit". The repeating his name and everything is going to get old, but it doesn't bother me.
MillenniumMan831 Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 If his character can act a little more like an adult and a little less like a 13-year old brat, he'd me much more enjoyable . . . Then again, you can say that about 1/2 the roster.
Silence Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 If his character can act a little more like an adult and a little less like a 13-year old brat, he'd me much more enjoyable . . . Then again, you can say that about 1/2 the roster. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> *cough cough* JBL *cough cough*
PLAGIARISM! Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 Old fashioned mic intro is good, he seemed perfectly capable at the ppv, both in the holly match and when he ran down Booker. He doesn't have the look of a main eventer, however. It's hard to look dignified with bleached hair.
CheesalaIsGood Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 All this will change as soon as he is given better opponents and a stronger position on the card to have some good matches. It's just too early to tell if he will be anything but the response has been good thus far.
TheFranchise Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 Supposing he goes far, how's his shtick going to work against people like Undertaker and Batista?
Guest Catcher8C Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 He's the next Kurt Angle...not seriously. But still he's a guy who came in with a good moveset, talent, and charisma. And he's getting better on the mic. He's the first WWE callup since Cena to have that combination. Watching him against Rey Mysterio, he reminded me of Chris Kanyon.
Guest J0bber Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 After seeing Mr. Kennedy for the first time on Smackdown last night, I agree with you totally rawmvp.
Guest Biggles Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 Last night I thought he had great intensity and less hokey than he has been in the past.
Dangerous A Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 He's better than Monty Brown. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What the hell does that have to do with anything being said here except being a cheap shot at Monty Brown? I could list off several OVW and TNA guys better than Kennedy and it'd be the same thing you just did.
Guest TotalJim Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 Come on fellas, There's heaps of people BETTER than the guy, but that's not the point.. The point is he's someone fresh and hopefully when he's done with this thing that he's doing now, he'll move onto something better.. Geez, it's not always about bitching and moaning about someone.. Just look forward to something for a change..
The Niggardly King Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 He'll be gone within 2 years.
Guest MikeSC Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 He's better than Monty Brown. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What the hell does that have to do with anything being said here except being a cheap shot at Monty Brown? I could list off several OVW and TNA guys better than Kennedy and it'd be the same thing you just did. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> WWE is being criticized for pushing a "sucky" guy too hard. I pointed out the darling TNA is pushing an even worse worker much harder.
Blade2kxx Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 It's usually "Flavour of the Quarter". Snitskymania didn't start dying until about the 3rd month. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT BROTHER?!? SNITSKYMANIA IS STILL RUNNING WILD DUDE! WITH HIS 27 INCH PYTHON LEGS, HE'S KICKING BABIES SO HARD THAT THEY'RE HITTING HIM IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD AFTER GOING AROUND THE WORLD 7 TIMES! YOU'D BEST TAKE YOUR ASPRIN AND SAY YOUR PRAYERS, BECAUSE... WHATCHAHGONNADO WHEN SNITSKYMANIA KICKS THE CRAP OUT OF YOU!!!! (By the way, this isn't Snitsky's fault)
humongous2002 Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 Kennedy is doing a pretty good job entertaining the fans as a midcarder working his way up the ladder, he's way better than JBL in getting real heel heat and maybe 2 years from now I would like to see him getting a main event push.
Guest Coffey Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 To be honest, I'm not seeing how Kennedy actually is better than Monty Brown. They both give decent enough promos and they're both passable in the ring. Neither have blown me away in either aspect. If anything, Monty has a better "look" than Kennedy.
Guest Fishyswa Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 Its the kids Coffey. If I showed my little brother Kennedy, he'd laugh and think he was cool. If I showed him Monty, he'd laugh and wonder why that big black guy is retarded. The real problem is TNA actually isn't trying to make people laugh at him.
Guest Coffey Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 ...and Kennedy is supposed to be making people laugh? I'm not buying it.
qdes Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 I actually do enjoy Mr Kennedy. Sure, he is no Paul London but he can still wrestle better than most of them. I'm just sad to see that Kennedy seems to be getting the push and role which would have been ideal for Christian. And he does look a bit generic to be HUGE. Still, quite impressed.
Guest Fishyswa Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 "...and Kennedy is supposed to be making people laugh? I'm not buying it." You actually don't believe the character is intended to be comedic?
Guest Coffey Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 Not anymore than Monty Brown. I mean, it's not like he has a Sharkboy gimmick. He has backstage vignettes and shit which are obviously supposed to be humorous, but he's supposed to be taken seriously. That's why he keeps winning.
Guest Fishyswa Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 Monty's supposed to be a monster power type who's a credible main event threat. The biggest name Kennedy has beat is Bob Holly. The comparison is silly. The main difference of course would be that Kennedy makes people laugh for the right reasons.
Epic Reine Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 The biggest name Kennedy has beat is Bob Holly. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You heard it here first folks, Holly > Mysterio and Booker in terms of star powa!!!!11
Guest Fishyswa Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 Yeah he was really made to look so much better than them...
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 "I could list off several TNA guys better than Kennedy" Oh really? Workers, not slinkeys.
