AboveAverage484 Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2192066 It always sucks when somebody dies so young; hell that's only six years older than me. RIP.
2GOLD Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 That's a damn shame. The guy was good at what he did, the big man to disrupt. And 28 is too young for a heart attack.
Dangerous A Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 Very shocking. Even if he's a role player, still scares the shit out of me because he's so young. I'm a year older than him and have high blood pressure to which I take meds to keep in check. Condolences go out to the Collier family, friends of Jason, and the Hawks organization.
Sass Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 Awful news. 28 is too young to pass away. I can't imagine how his wife feels after trying to give him CPR and not getting anything to happen.
Mr. S£im Citrus Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 Damn, and he was just starting to find his place in the NBA... Condolences to the Collier family; Yellow Jacket Nation mourns your loss.
AboveAverage484 Posted October 16, 2005 Author Report Posted October 16, 2005 Wonder what Rip thinks about this, being our resident Hawks fan?
Vampiro69 Posted October 16, 2005 Report Posted October 16, 2005 It is sad that an player in great shape dies suddenly of a heart attack. It makes me think of when Reggie Lewis died in 93.
Ripper Posted October 18, 2005 Report Posted October 18, 2005 thats fucked up. Collier, good player or not, was a young well liked guy here. you could alway see him fishing at Lake Lanier. Tough for the family and all. Maybe this will give the team something to play for (not to trivialize his death)
Adam Posted October 18, 2005 Report Posted October 18, 2005 Shocking tragedy, R.I.P. Never good to see someone die at 28 years of age.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted October 18, 2005 Report Posted October 18, 2005 What, did the Hawks win a game or something? Never heard of him, but he's one year younger than me. Peace out...
