The OAO RAW thread - 10/24/05

Recommended Posts

KNK, I didn't see all of that (I changed it quickly) but I'm sure it sucked rotting donkey balls. That out of the way, chill out. So they ran an embarrisingly shitty skit, but they've done it before. It's not the end of the world.

If TNA did something like this J.R. skit everyone would be praising it. Guaranteed!

That is one of the stupidest things I've heard since I've been here.

Bullshit. People are just as critical with TNA as with WWE, just look at the response to Bound for Glory last night.

Fuck no, that was long and boring.

While I agree that yea, that's definitely an exaggeration.

I don't know...if I can't remember correctly, didn't people actually like those Mad Mikey skits back then..which were pretty damn bad..and just as long.

They wouldn't be stupid enough to do such a skit.

No, instead they do a stupid ass funeral skit in a funeral home with one of their guys trying to piss inside the casket. That's not stupid at all

That skit was indefensible. I'm not even talking about its potential offensive nature by making fun of JR; it just wasn't funny, on any level.

Nothing redeemable about it. Stop acting like there was.

Any chance that Helms could get over to SD!...cause I'll still lose interest in him if he's jobbing as a heel same as he did as a face...he's on Unlimited right now...how the fuck is Helms supposed to beat Rosey?

What the hell.

They have Helms cutting his promo ON THE INTERNET. This should be on TV damnit.

No, you see we need time to mock a non-wrestling announcer.

Talented worker with mic time? This isn't 2000. This is 2005. The power is back!

If they did that, they'd have to cut time from Vince spelunking in JR's asshole.

That's pretty much my thoughts summed up right there.

Horeshit

Whoreshit?

Even if you didn't find the funeral segment funny, it lasted about 1/4 the length and put the AMW/Team 3D feud over. It doesn't compare.

I don't get the offensive thing. JR's in the company, I'm sure he knows what they did and probably doesn't give a shit. It was just 10 minutes too long and not funny. It wasn't even chuckle worth.

Offended? Nah, that wasn't offensive. Just boring and unfunny.

They did that idiotic funeral home skit

TNA's funeral home skit actually, you know, did something with storylines and furthered plots, involving actual wrestlers. Not to mention giving America's Most Wanted personalities, for once. That's far more than any of WWE's stuff does, especially tonights "comedy."

See, I don't mind being crass and immature. But it has to actually be good, which tonight's skit wasn't.
