Guest wildpegasus Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 I've never seen the point of using shaving cream. I've never seen the point and henceforth have never done so as it is a waste of time and money. Plus who knows what kind of ingredients your skin is absorbing from that stuff. Anyone with me?
nl5xsk1 Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 How thick is your stubble? If I even try to shave without shaving gel (shaving cream is teh suXor) I get brutal razor burn. But then again, I have a 5:00 shadow already, and I shaved at 6 this morning. Moral of my story: if all you've got is whiskers, yeah, skip the shaving gel/cream. If you've got enough hair, use it and save yourself a shitload of burn.
Slayer Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 Why does a 10 year-old need to know about shaving?
Twisted Intestine Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 If I don't use cream, I get burn, and my razor gets full of hair and is basically useless after a stroke or two.
Renegade Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 If you need to use a blade for shaving, you will need some sort of cream. Unless you're some hairless child.
Masked Man of Mystery Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 I used to try doing it without anything, but it took much longer
kkktookmybabyaway Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 You all use razors? Wimps. *Puts shaving gell back on sinktop...*
2GOLD Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 I go electric. The lady loves the stub. She likes it, I'm done with effort.
eiker_ir Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 i usually just use some water but if i've gone for a few days without a shave i may put some cream or something.
Nighthawk Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 I've quit shaving. But when I did, I didn't use anything. It cut the hell out of my face, but I didn't really care.
Guest wildpegasus Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 Why does a 10 year-old need to know about shaving? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 29 buddy. I'm an old man on this planet. I've forgotten more about life than you'll ever know. Myself, I kind of like the burn. Keeps you alive. Does anyone else besides me like to go as fast as possible?
Slayer Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 I've forgotten more about life than you'll ever know. Like how to kiss, apparently
Special K Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 The Mach 3 is the greatest razor ever. It doesn't get clogged up. Treat yourself to a hot shave at a barber's sometime. It's delectable.
Guest wildpegasus Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 I've forgotten more about life than you'll ever know. Like how to kiss, apparently <{POST_SNAPBACK}> OWNED. Ouch, that hurt more than reaching ludicrous shaving speed.
Black Lushus Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 definently, shaving cream and Nivea after shave...
Guest Fook Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 Does anyone else besides me like to go as fast as possible? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Um, no. I'd rather not have 50 cuts on my face.
Black Lushus Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 so he doesn't know how to kiss girls, he doesn't know how to shave....WP did your father live with you, growing up?
kkktookmybabyaway Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 I didn't have the old man to teach me to shave ... and he certainly didn't teach my how to kiss. Blech. Now teaching me about the joy of receiving anal sex, that's a whole other story...
Sideburnious Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 I use gel or soap. It hurts if I go without and leaves my skin red, hot and itchy. I was replying to KKK's last line btw
Corey_Lazarus Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 I get mad razor burn when I try shaving without cream or gel. The gel I use, Gillette I do believe, also has a moisturizer and helps the stubble stand up on end so it's easier to shave off. Moisturizer gives me soft skin. Soft skin = what the bitches love.
CanadianGuitarist Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 The Mach 3 is the greatest razor ever. It doesn't get clogged up. Treat yourself to a hot shave at a barber's sometime. It's delectable. Right on both counts. My first was an electric, and I thought I'd never use a blade until they were handing out free Mach 3's at college. I never went back. Interestingly, the electric in question went missing the following day. I haven't seen it since(3 years ago and change).
Sass Posted October 24, 2005 Report Posted October 24, 2005 No shaving cream for me. I've also never cut myself once since I've been shaving too. I consider myself fortunate. Btw, no offense WP but Slayer did drop a wicked good burn on you. It was easy but effective. I also had no idea you were 29 either... Carry on.

I just like to do it in under 2 minutes tops. What sucks now is that I have to shave more often than when I was 23 or 24. I hope my shaving frequency doesn't have to keep on going upwards. Oh, but I still live at my parent's house! Of course! You expect anything different from me? My father never taught me anything besides work, work and work. I worked too much as a kid and I think it traumatised me.

Is it your super-busy social life? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He can't handle standing infront of the mirror for more than two minutes at a time? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually, I stand in front of the mirror more than 2 minutes at the today. Throughout the day I probably flex for more than 30 minutes a day so I can check out my lats, biceps, quads, glutamis maximus and so on. My favourite posed are the double bicep pose and just flexing my BUTT muscles up and down which I have a weird fixation of doing. Sometimes I flex one at a time or two at a time and just imagine the girls going ga ga over my gorgeous BUTT. Anytime I see a puddle or a car window (weird windows because they make you wider but they make you shorter as well so your physicque gets distorted) I have to flex in it. Even when I see my shadow from the light or the sun I have to flex. The one thing I hate in life is how almost NO mirror is 100% accurate. Man, what I'd do for an accurate mirror. So no I don't go real fast shaving because I can't stand the mirror. I go real fast because I like the thrill of being a rebel and getting through it as fast as the pain. I like the pain and the adrenaline rush you get from it. Nothing makes you feel more alive than pain. I 'm also real impatient while shaving for some reason.
