This thread should be for all comments relating to anything on WWE 24/7.

 

So far, I love it.

 

I love watching all the old nitros and raws in order. It sucks that they skip the weeks that Raw wasnt on but nitro was...etc but I guess it wasn't a Monday Night War then, understandable.

 

I can't believe we're getting WCW Bash at the Beach 96 for the 3rd time already, just crazy.

I really can't complain, at $6.95, it's a GREAT value...I only wish they'd show MORE per month, 2 to 3 PPVs and 1 or 2 Raw/Nitros doesn't cut it for me...

Are any of the old school cards this month any good? I really wish they'd let you choose by match, rather then having to fast forward through everything.

I find that I have to be using explorer, I can't be using Firefox or Mozilla.

 

This is great great stuff. Might have to get myself a subscription before prices go up. It's really fairly cheap and you get so much damn stuff.

Ok, just to clarify, everyone knows that WWE 24/7 is a VOD cable channel with updated shows every month, while WWE 24/7 Online is a rebrnaded Jukebox, right?

 

The WWETabooTuesday password applies to the Jukebox version, which has updated matches every month.

cool I got it, watchign Piper vs Mountie rumble 92 right now. Too bad it looks crappy fullscreen on my PC so Im watching it smaller but no complaints here lol

Yeah, some stuff looks really grainy fullscreen while other matches look A-OK. Doesn't seem to have a whole lot to do w/ age. The Survivor Series 90 match looks like crap fullscreen while the TuesTex match looks great.

OMG there is literally so much stuff avaliable here you dont have time to see it all even in a month. awesome. Maybe Ill subscribe later on, too bad the real 24/7 isnt as extensive as this.

Basically, for a little more than the price of one ppv ($39.95), you can have all 200+ matches at your disposal. Not a bad one time fee. Plus, it gives ya a reason to look forward to the beginning of the month.

 

Slightly OT: I asked one of the support guys why there is no FF/REW on the 24/7 Viewer screen and he didn't know. Seems odd it wouldn't be on it.

great point. and actually if you sit back far away enough from your monitor, the full screen doesnt look as grainy.

 

 

now Im checking out sting vs black scorpion at starrcade 90 since I have never seen it. cool they didnt edit stings old theme, it rocks (not his man called sting one) too bad they cut out scorps entrance in the spaceship DAMN

Hey, I clicked on where it says wmplayer and it took me into the regular WMP on my pc, where I can now fast forwar and rewind. hope that helps

Right but it was a little weird that you wouldn't be able to do that on their own player. Especially since you're able to on their Heat/Velocity/ect shows.

I saw Michaels/Jarrett from IYH II online today and it was astonishingly good. Easily the best work Jarrett's ever done in his entire life.

 

****3/4 because the finish could have been a BIT better, but everything leading up to it was almost perfect. This tops Psychosis/Rey as my favourite match of 1995, and in my opinion, trumps Michaels/Ramon from the next month and Bulldog/Bret from December(?) as the best match of 1995.

Yesterday I watched a bunch of stuff(including wargames 91). the best was HHHs early RAW matches including a squash vs a very young Jeff Hardy. Weird to see now, Trips was so much smaller before the roids. and that theme song is strange to hear now

The only complaint I have is the terrible editing job with the music. How can they give Rey and Kidman a techno theme?? How hard would it be to dig up one of Rey's current themes. And the Hogan theme, before they bought Jimmy Hart's music, was atrocious.

I was able to check out some 24/7 previews up at my friend's apartment in London, Ontaario. I don't have Rogers cable in my market so it's not an option, but they do up here. I watched the free 57 minute preview for the November 87 Houston house show.. that was a real "WTF" moment when Bruce Pritchard, Mike McGuric, and some guy I've never eard of (Earl of something, I believe) did commentary. There was a Hart Foundaion vs Bulldogs match in there... not sure if it's the same one that will end up being on Bret's DVD (I need to check that).
