Vader Time

Id asume Vader Time = 1 night contract?

I certainly hope he didn't get a longer deal than that.

It would be nice to have him back if he was in actual shape, but not like he was tonight.

Legends deal. He'll be @ TT as well.

"actual shape"...well, I'd settle for 450 again.

Maybe he was still looking for bull frogs when he got the call to show up.

Fuck, Vader's one of my favorite wrestlers and the WWE has him show up *now* instead of like 5 years ago. I mean, fuck.

How long before they'll have enough legends to do a "Legends PPV"?

It'd be horrible...but Im not putting it past them at this point.

Vince got onto Vader for being overweight and out of shape in '98. It costed Vader a feud with Austin.

Vince hires Vader in 2005, who is even more overweight and out of shape now than he was in '98 and *now* he gets to work with Austin, who is no longer around.

I can't wait to hear Vader call himself a "fat piece of shit" once again...

Let's not forget they tell Mark Henry to lose weight, so he does and they do nothing about it. He gains it all back and they push him like crazy.

Let's not forget they tell TBS to lose weight and he doesn't really do that and they just let him back and act like nothing changed.

But Vader? A guy who could actually work even in 1998 when he was already slipping and still looked imposing doesnt? They job him out, ship him back to Japan where he has a brief inspired run before burning out.

2005 calls and they let him beat down the "young" cool muscle man world champion, Batista.

But Vader meant to do that.

It's psychology. Vader is baiting everyone in by letting them think he's a weak old fat man who'll slip by the slightest breeze... then tomorrow he's gonna be like WHAM and BAM and drop Batista on his head, and steal the World Heavyweight Championship.

Can Jake Roberts show up and just yell DDT for a few minutes at the next RAW? That would be swell.

This puts things in perspective...

I'm hoping this good become the all time classic Vader thread after he brings an epic battle to Batista tomorrow.

When did that happen? Was that after his last match in the WWF?

Obviously he wasn't prepared to show up. They probably just called him yesterday to show up. If Vader is given time he could probably get in decent shape again. When he was in TNA in 2003(?) he wasn't in that bad of shape.

It was hilarious, but I kinda feel bad for the guy. Of all the times to slip up and fall flat on your ass - live tv, that's gotta suck.

Hopefully they'll add a "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" to it for full effect.

It has a sound effect, that's as good as you're getting.

He lost a mask vs mask match against Kane. He took off the mask, did his rant, disappeared for a couple of weeks and returned wearing the mask.

Yeah, I get the impression that Vader showing up was pretty last minute. Maybe if he had a few months of hard training he could get himself back to a decent weight. I mean, it was pretty embarassing to watch him fall twice in the ring, and then fall off the ring apron. At least Goldust hit his finisher and stuff. When Coach was telling Vader to finish Batista off, I thought we'd at least get to see a powerbomb or the Vader Splash. Instead, we get a lame double axehandle. Pretty pathetic.

Also, am I the only one that noticed Vader just doesn't look as BIG as he used to be? I'm not talking about in a fat sense, but in an overall size sense. I remember him being this huge monster, but standing next to even the likes of Coach, he didn't look all that monsteriffic... :(

I think it time for Vader to bring out his secret weapon. The man that he's been training for years to become the next monster of the pro wrestling world. The man that's going to bring honor back to the Vader name.

Yes I talking Vader's son Frankie 'The Enforcer' Stechino. It's Frankie Time. :)
