mike546 Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 Does Peyton even have an incomplete pass yet? edit: Fucking jinxed him.
Urban Warfare Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 Waiting for that, horrible choice by Manning. Again, for whatever reason, Peyton just does not set his feet when he throws like he always does.
Sass Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 That just now fumble call where the ball was "down" truly sucked.
Urban Warfare Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 I was about to say that, but the Pats get a call against them for once.
Guest El Satanico Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 It looked like a catch, but they should've called down for a replay.
Damaramu Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 It was a catch. He had control right before he got to the ground. Anyways everyone hates the ESPN football song but what do you think of the Tim McGraw song?
Urban Warfare Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 Peyton is scrambling more in this game than he has in his entire career.
jwpeer Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 I was wrong. 35-7 not 35-3...they got a td on the opening drive, instead of a FG. Other than that this game is quickly moving to finish just as I thought it would. There's no real reason the pats SHOULD win this game, they just aren't that good.
2GOLD Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 As to be expected, New England has zero defense. Least the Colts will finally win and this stupid Colts-Pats whatever feud can end. I was getting sick of it.
Boon Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 Peyton is not beating the Patriots. Peyton is beating the Patriots backups.
2GOLD Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 Peyton is not beating the Patriots. Peyton is beating the Patriots backups. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Look, the Colts will still beat the Patriots. I don't care what team the Pats field. We can't have it both ways. When the Pats beat a team hurt by injuries, we still say they beat whoever. No matter what versions they are facing, the players are still part of the Patriots team. Colts are beating the Patriots, end of story. No excuses.
Guest El Satanico Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 So, now you'll use injuries as an excuse? Last year, they were down to using Troy Brown as DB.
Urban Warfare Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 Touchdown Pats, nice play there.
NoCalMike Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 Anyone think the implications of this game are a bit overrated? I mean The Colts are probably going to end up beating a pedestrain Pats team, and even if they did lose tonight, it's not like New Englad has a chance in hell to get homefield in the playoffs.
Guest El Satanico Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 If it wasn't for Peyton never beating them at home, they wouldn't be making a big deal out of it.
Urban Warfare Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 Ouch, talk about a backfire there.
2GOLD Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 Ouch, talk about a backfire there. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't blame him, the defense cannot stop anything.
Boon Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 Peyton is not beating the Patriots. Peyton is beating the Patriots backups. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Look, the Colts will still beat the Patriots. No matter what versions they are facing, the players are still part of the Patriots team. Colts are beating the Patriots, end of story. No excuses. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You're right. This will go down as Colts beat Patriots. And there's no other way to label it. BTW- you find me a team that the Patriots beat that was as fucked up by injuries as the Patriots are now- you won't. It just sucks that 4 members of the Pats seconday are out for the season. But whatever. I'm not going to bitch about it. We've had it made the past 4 years, I really can't complain.
Failed Bridge Posted November 8, 2005 Author Report Posted November 8, 2005 So, now you'll use injuries as an excuse? Last year, they were down to using Troy Brown as DB. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They were using Troy Brown as a nickelback. Its not like he was out there covering the number one option of the other team. From what I've seen tonight I believe that if the Pats had a healthy Patrick Pass, Richard Seymour, and Matt Light along with the Colts not coming off a bye then this game would be much different. I said at the start of the year that the league giving the Colts a bye before the game in New England was their way of trying to help Peyton not become the next Dan Marino.
Damaramu Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 Where is Stokley? Is he hurt or just not doing much?
Urban Warfare Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 Wow, what a great throw there, now it's over.
UZI Suicide Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 LMAO. Colts going for 2.. I love it.
Urban Warfare Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 Assholes chant. LOL. Edit: Fuck Bill Belichick. He would be doing the same thing in this situation.
UZI Suicide Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 What the fuck is Belichick doing. Just bend over and take it like a man, bitch.
Guest Vitamin X Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 Hmm, that'd be nice if this came back to bite them in the ass later on. Probably won't be it'd be interesting. Pats need to score two TD's with 2-point conversions apiece AND a FG just to send it into overtime. It's not officially over, but just about. That stat about Dungy being the only coach in NFL history not to choke a 14 point lead is pretty interesting as well (50-0 or something like that)
Failed Bridge Posted November 8, 2005 Author Report Posted November 8, 2005 Edit: Fuck Bill Belichick. He would be doing the same thing in this situation. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> X
Kinetic Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 And so the question now becomes is Indianapolis that good, or is New England just kind of mediocre?
Sass Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 We'll find out when the Colts go undefeated in the regular season.
