Corey_Lazarus Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 While on the topic of foreign workers...KENTA. Bring in KENTA. Please? I mean, KENTA is the man, and if KENTA can't put on extensively awesome matches and get over solely on workrate, than nobody can.
Placebo Effect Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 Chris "Innovator of Offense" Kanyon would be good, but didn;t he have a cup of coffee in TNA already, and isn;t he a little long in the tooth for that wrestling style he has? Don;t feel bad 2GOLD, I marked for Glacier too until the program with Saturn exposed him. "It's a simple side kick!" Actually, I loved his end of WCW run where he was Norman Smiley's "back-up/protection" and all he would do was spend half his time doing his entrance then walk around the ring slapping hands while Norman lost. Then he'd get in the ring, do his karate pose while Norman laid unconscious. It was awesome. And sadly it opened happened once, maybe twice, before the shit hit the fan and WCW died.
Rendclaw Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 by the way, we have to list WWE guys, because those guys are the ones we see the most, aside from Japan, ROH, and some indies...

Twice and it was great. I was so pissed when the company folded just because I wouldn't see that angle play out.
naiwf Posted December 2, 2005 Report Posted December 2, 2005 Just wondering wouldn't Vince own the Mortis gimmick by way of buying WCW?
King Cucaracha Posted December 2, 2005 Author Report Posted December 2, 2005 KENTA, maybe. But Ricky Marvin is the way to go. Also, Chuck Palumbo would get over in TNA like a flash. I don't know what that says about the Orlando crowd exactly, but he would. They could have him and Mark Jindrak as 'the guys who can punch real good' and they'd be Tag Champions within 2 months.
Failed Bridge Posted December 2, 2005 Report Posted December 2, 2005 Just wondering wouldn't Vince own the Mortis gimmick by way of buying WCW? I'm pretty sure Kanyon has the rights to it as I believe he wrestled in Japan under the name for awhile. I could be wrong though.
Magus Posted December 2, 2005 Report Posted December 2, 2005 Also, Chuck Palumbo would get over in TNA like a flash. I don't know what that says about the Orlando crowd exactly, but he would. They could have him and Mark Jindrak as 'the guys who can punch real good' and they'd be Tag Champions within 2 months. Gimmick infringement. A Palumbo/Jindrak (and for that matter, O'Haire) team would only be a more physically impressive version of AMW.
Guest [censored] Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 Wouldn't Polumbo make Lance Hoyt seem rather ridiculous and unimpressive? Not that that is a bad thing mind you, because I always liked Polumbo and thought he got screwed by a couple of stupid gimmicks.
razazteca Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 Lance Hoyt is bastard child of (Edge, Test, Nash) while Chuck is the gay jungle grease monkey from the Walmart Supercenter auto department.
