I don't know whether you are being sarcastic or not, but if you are indeed telling the truth then I can at least understand where you are possibly pulling this hate/dislike from. I still don't agree with you necessarily but it at least brings some background into all of this.

I chalk that up to the general "closemindedness" and/or ignorance on the part of most die-hard Christians. There is no questioning it: homosexuality is a sin and that's that. It doesn't mean that they're bad people and deserve bad things to happen to them. I wouldn't wish what's happening to Matt on anyone with the exception of extreme cases (Hitler, child rapists and the like).

This entire thread went to shit because Matt doesn't share FBTG's love of beef. So does Matt go around saying that all homosexuals are going to hell and that they should die, or what? Fill us in on the specifics here. Most Christians believe that homosexuality is a sin, but not all Christians believe that they are going to hell or that they should die, and all of that bullshit. I'm a Christian, and I don't agree with that lifestyle, but I don't have any problem with people who go that way. I don't think they are going to hell, and I most certainly don't wish them death. The problem is the really psycho Christians out there, who have ruined the way people see all Christians. So does Matt just not agree with the lifestyle, or is he one of the really psycho people who bashes them, says they should go to hell, etc...?

As long as you can't provide any proof of that beyond "I train in OVW", you can't make any sort of statement of the kind. We all have opinions, some that you might not agree with, that doesn't allow for you to celebrate his situation. So the comparison that was made between Matt having the beliefs that homosexuality is a sin, which you haven't given proof to yet, to Hitler (that was made eariler) someone who didn't only have a opinion against homosexuals but nearly every single other types of people and not only had those opinions, but acted out on them. It's an horrible and inaccurate statement.
