Honestly, if Silent Hill does justice to the games (and the teaser suggests it will), it will , without hyperbole, be one of the scariest movies ever.

 

I don't think a movie has scared me since I've been young. A couple movies, the original TCM, The Birds, have made me feel uncomfortable. Playing one of the Silent Hills with headphones on, in the dark, late at night, is fucking terrifying.

The OVA is about as good as we can expect.

 

Samurai Shodown has an animated movie, but it sucks. Amakusa is a woman (and a dull villain at that), everybody bleeds milk, none of the characters are particularly likeable. Haohmaru is in particular an utter goofball at best and a moron at worst.

 

Who is pumped for the Bloodrayne movie? It only took a year + to get distribution!
