Angle-plex 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2006 I've popped some vicodin before and I barely noticed anything. Only other drugs I've tried are weed and alcohol, both of which are fun I suppose.
nl5xsk1 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2006 how cool do all of you feel now? Right now I feel relatively cool. I really don't remember how cool I felt when you actually posted the inquiry, though. And a drug anecdote just to make this post something more substantial than a +1: One of my favorite things used to be to take a big bong hit and as I was holding it in, snap a line of cocaine. The combination of holding in the grass longer to imbibe the coke, the further inhalation to allow for the coke to be snapped, and the general combination of the two drugs left me relatively confused for a few seconds before the actual euphoria kicked in. Good times. (and, I guess to further answer che v's questoin, I felt cooler before adding in that little story. I should have left this as a +1)
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted January 14, 2006 That actually sounds like a really great idea, niskie. Although, I probably won't be doing coke again anyways, at least not until I go into the film industry. Then it'd have to be one of those things, you know? LJSexay 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2006 5MeO-DIPT Research chemicals are wild. This one caused myself and a horrible ex girlfriend to ride bicycles all around the apartment, then we smashed all the dishes in the kitchen while laughing hysterically. Nothing else has ever been that fun. histerical

Special K 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2006 You know you can get high off of spicy foods? You have to like extremely spicy foods (as I do) and take it a little too far. Not that it's particularly pleasent. You just feel light-headed and spacy for maybe a half-hour, if that. Your brain kicks in the endorphins to counteract the burn. Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2006 You can get high off of caffeine. It will kill you, but I don't care. Try it. Take a whole box of the pills. You'll be dead, but before that you'll go on a journey.
Special K 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2006 Ok. I'm so excited! I'm so excited! I'm so... scared? Now to fuck Kyle Mclalghlin. The guy that David Lynch likes for wont of spelling. I'll say this: alcoholism has more romance than every other drug combined. Of course, 10% of the population gaurantees you'll have a shitload of alcoholic poets. THere's no DXM Bukowski, Hemingway, or Dr. Jekkyl. Dr. Jekkyl and Mr. Hyde was written about alcoholism.
Guest Quik Report post Posted January 14, 2006 1. Weed- I smoke it every fucking day, so I must enjoy it. 2. Nicotine- same thing as pot. 3. Painkillers (Vicadin, Valium)- I really like painkillers. Yet somehow I manage to not get addicted to them. It's awesome. 4. Opium- Opium's nice. I just get in a really pleasant mood. I wouldn't call it a high, I just feel content. The Metal Maniac 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2006 Dr. Jekkyl and Mr. Hyde was written about alcoholism. I thought it was written about cocaine...while the author was on cocaine. No, seriously, I read that somewhere. I dunno if it's true though.

Sideburnious 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2006 Dr. Jekkyl and Mr. Hyde was written about alcoholism. I thought it was written about cocaine...while the author was on cocaine. No, seriously, I read that somewhere. I dunno if it's true though. It's about homo-eroticism of its time. There are several big symbols in the book to verify this. I studied it last year as part of my English Literature course.
The Metal Maniac 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2006 What kinda symbols? I'm genuinely curious.
Sideburnious 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2006 Off the top of my head there has been comments at the fact that there are little to no female characters in the book, and that Jekyll often looks fondly and takes walks with his associate (I forget the name) and how the associate gets overly jealous (and begins investigating Jekyll) when he is suspicious that someone is taking advantage of him. Alot site the artist was a closet homosexual like alot of the gentlemen of him time, and that thats what came out in his writing. That he was one of the guys that would pay poor boys for sex. This split personality story was him splitting the two parts of his persona, the gentleman and the homosexual. The biggest symbol that I can remember (because at the time I thought it was funny) was that Hyde always went into the house "through the back door". There's alot more but I can't remember them off the top of my head, if I digged up my notes I could probably tell you more. My lecturer wrote a book which I think is basically about the "modern man" and coursing homosexuality through literature. I never read the whole book though, just his notes on Jekyll and Hyde. super_tigris 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2006 I had Vikoden for an injury, and from that experience alone, I will never do drugs, ever. Never, not again, not ever. The reason being how big of a fool I made out of myself for an entire night because I'd taken such a big amount of it (not 10 pills, but more like 4 or 5). I hate the idea that I'm not in control of my body, I hate the idea of a reality that's non-existant that my body and mind feel apart of, it just frightens me. The fact that you can die through drug use is also enough to make me never want to use anything ever again. For those reasons, I've become "Straight Edge", but not in the stupid "HARDCORE! PUNK MUSIC RULEZ 4 LIFE" sense, it's more of a civil thing where I took an oath to myself never to use a drug ever again. But I'm friends with many people who enjoy their drugs, so I say this: have fun and be safe!
