Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2006 The Shield, Season Two. Vic Mackey's been shot and the guy who pulled the trigger is on the loose. Vic tells Shane and the rest of the Strike Team to find the guy. They go to the mans house but only find his girlfriend, packing a suitcase that they presume is for their suspect. Girlfriend acts like a giant cunt to Shane. Big, big mistake. Shane tricks Ronnie and Lem into leaving the room and locks the door behind him. He then proceeds to hold the girlfriend down, strip her and threaten to rape her right then and there if she doesn't give her man up. After dropping the line "Why don't I just let my dick do the talking?" she gives up and dimes the guy. And does Shane just leave her alone? No. He tells her that she doesn't know what she's missing and blows her a kiss before he departs. Goddamn, did my love for Det. Shane Vendrell grow after that moment. What horrifiying/disturbing/fucked up moments in TV do you love even though you're probably not supposed to?
Ravenbomb 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2006 Angelus: " And that accent... oh, chicks just love a good accent. Makes 'em all buttery in their nether regions. Isn't that right, Fred? You know, I had a bit of an Irish brogue back in the day. If you like, I can use it on you when I rape you to death."
Special K 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2006 The FX shows will probably have a lock on this thread. On Nip/Tuck, Matt gets beaten down by a mob of trannies, they all proceed to piss on him. Mark out because Matt is such a little shit. Dutch strangles a cat. Not a mark-out moment because I like seeing animals killed, but because it was such a perfect, empty ending to the episode, and was incredibly acted. Just about anything Schillinger did on Oz. He was a despicable character, but I loved him.
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2006 This will definetly be an HBO/FX-heavy thread. Dutch choking the kitty definetly is up there. The dull thud of the cat hitting the ground and then fade to black.
Special K 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2006 I should mention Vic shooting Terry as well, I never expected it, and when it happened, we all knew the show was going to be crazy. Also Vic having the one hooker felate his gun. Not disturbing, but inappropriate: all the incest jokes in AD.
Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2006 Just about anything Schillinger did on Oz. He was a despicable character, but I loved him. as funny as this sounds coming from a black guy, Vern Schillinger was my favorite Oz character...JK Simmons is pretty much gold in everything he's in. Darthtiki 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2006 Nip/Tuck: Christian giving flabby Abby the bag and then at the end of the ep her giving the bag back to him with her number. The Shield: Grill marks 'nuff said CSI: The furry episode
starvenger 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2006 About every other thing Jack Bauer does. Even if most of it is merely implied, not shown. Most memorable, though: The hacksaw. Shooting Chappelle. Chopping Chase's hand off. Threatening to cut Cummings' eyes out.
gWIL 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2006 I believe it's in the first episode of The Shield, Shane takes a piss on someone. That's all I remember but I remember thinking it was funny.
the max 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2006 starvenger, don't forget Jack cutting into the dead Jonathan Wallace's stomach to recover the microchip and executing Kingsley's man after drugging him so much that he'd be dead within ten minutes. Also Kim calling Jack when Gary tried to attack her, which led to this exchange: Jack: Shoot him Kim: (gunshot is heard) Jack: Kim! Kim! Are you alright? Kim: (sobbing) yes...I shot him, dad. I did it. Jack: (after a beat)...shoot him again

SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2006 During the first 1 and 1/2 seasons of Alias, before it turned into "The Adventures of Jennifer Garner's Love Life", it was an actual good show. Her father, Jack Bristow, was basically Batman as a CIA agent. He was a total asshole who would spare no expense in ethics or rules to get the job done. Of course, he was one of the good guys, and their boss Sloane was an even BIGGER son-of-a-bith who was always one step ahead of the real CIA. I die a little inside when I compare how good that show used to be with the scenes of pregnant Sydney going undercover, Grandpa Jack being all over-protective, and heartwarming scenes of them putting her baby's crib together. Fuck you, JJ Abrams. You ruined a perfectly good action show and turned it into a heart-warming family drama.
ZGangsta 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2006 First thought that came to mind: Gay Julian getting his groove on with that dude and Vic interrupts the party. I swear to God, I stood up and yelled "Oh yeah, fuck yeah!" as soon as Vic busted in the door even though I was watching that episode all by myself. It was because Julian had Vic by the balls with that whole taking evidence thing and watching the show you didn't have any idea that anyone new about Julian and his relationship with that guy. It was such a surprise.
Nighthawk 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2006 As an Oz fan, there were at least two or three every episode. Let's see, what was a good one... Adebisi putting his headphones back on as he raped Peter Schibetta. Most of the crime flashbacks were pretty badass too. Highlight: Jefferson Keane gunning down a bride and groom as they exit the church.
