Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted February 11, 2006 Speaking of cold weather sports, I was watching this sports atrocity show the other day, and they showed footage of this dumb fucker trying to ski down this enormous mountain. Dude slipped, and tumbled end over end for more than an entire minute, bouncing off of rocks and crags of ice. It was fuckin' FAR, too. Alpine Skiing Biathlon Bobsleigh Cross-country Skiing Curling Figure Skating Freestyle Skiing Ice Hockey Luge Nordic Combined Short Track Speed Skating Skeleton Ski Jumping Snowboard Speed Skating I'm intrigued by all of the events, 'cept for figure skating. 2GOLD 0 Report post Posted February 11, 2006 I liked watching the Women's Ice Hockey today and they cut to the crowd to show the fans enjoyment. Only one person was actually watching the game, some guy was looking at his watch, another was napping, one looked like he wanted to hang himself with his USA flag and tons of empty seats. treble 0 Report post Posted February 11, 2006 There's not really much need for a tournament in Women's hockey as Canada and the States are the only 2 teams that are any good at this point. I mean, the Italians have 15 year-olds on their team, what's the point of them playing one of the big teams when they're just going to get their asses kicked. What does it tell you about the quality level of this "sport" when the supposedly great teams Canada and the USA lose exhibition games to high school boys teams?
