Some old school gems for you all;

Then WWWF World Champ, Bob Backlund appears on Georgia Championship Wrestling in a squash match. Man as someone who is almost entirely with his mid 90s WWF run, I'm surprised to see how ripped Backlund is here.

Another clip from Georgia Championship Wrestling circa 1979. In this one, a young strapping lad by the name of Sterling Golden wrestles against two jobbers in a handicap match and gets into a heated confrontation with Tony Atlas after the match. Golden would go on to some fame a couple years later in New York...

Mr. Perfect's WWF debut against "Jumpin" Jim Brunzell with the awful commentating team of Sean Mooney, Lord Alfred Hayes, and "Superstar" Billy Graham. *shudders*

Can't say I've ever seen that Adam Bomb-Giant Gonzalez footage, good find.

That feud would of been...interesting?

that seems to be the debut of Wippleman as Bombs manager too. As you recall Johnny Polo (Raven) was his original manager (before polo started to manage the Quebecers). rare sight of giant gonzalez post face turn.

Virgil squashes as a young Balls Mahoney (wrestling as John Rechner). Weird to hear Lawler and Heenan on the same announce team.

Tekno Team 2000 Vs the jobberific duo of Barry Horowitz and The Brooklyn Brawler.

Damn that match was even better than I remembered it.

And now for something completely different

A heated main event in Puerto Rico as Abdullah The Butcher takes on...Zeus. And yes, it's as bad as you'd expect.

Shitty quality but funny clip. A drunk Terry Funk appears on one of the first episodes of Shotgun and calls Vince McMahon "a Yankee Bastard", calls Todd Pettingill's mom a whore, threatens to beat up the cameraman and gets into a brawl with special guest color commentator, Steve Austin.

The famous 10-man tag team match from RAW in Dallas in 2000. The heat for this thing is incredible.

God damn. Scotty 2 freakin Hotty got more heat in that match than almost anyone today does.

EDIT: Right after Rikishi's Samoan Drop on Benoit, the video goes back to the start for me. Anyone else having this problem?

And God, what I wouldn't do to hear Cactus Jack's music this Monday night.

Here's another feud that never was. This one from the low rent Boston based IWCCW circa Summer '91. The Honky Tonk Man and Rick Rude argue over who is the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time and who has the better neckbreaker. Apparently, they hyped the match for months and months and it never happened. Then Rude signed with WCW and I guess you can say we never found out who was the better IC champ (or who was supposed to be the babyface :D )

oh wow I remember watching the IWCCW shows back in the day and I remember the hype for the rude/honky match, then Rude showed up in wcw all of a sudden, that sucks. anyhow good memories of indy goodness. This was the first fed I ever saw the Tasmaniac and Tommy Dreamer in.

thanks for the video dude

they were using the same music as world class (or at least what 24/7 uses for wccw shows).

Is that 10 man match on the RAW XV DVD? It would be a massive crime if it isn't. The match is made so much more by the insanly loud crowd.
