pochorenella 0 Report post Posted March 8, 2006 Unless they have Survivor Series at MSG, that's going to break a streak dating back to '92 (possibly longer) of having a PPV at the Garden every other year. 1994 - WM X 96 - Survivor Series 98 - SummerSlam 2000 - Royal Rumble 02 - Survivor Series 04 - WM XX They'd be fools to not do a show in the Garden, or at the very least, the Nassau. New York has to be one of (if not their biggest) cities and to completely leave them off the PPV lineup is absurd. Besides, I want to go to a PPV this year, and its more likely that New York gets it than DC. It'd be awesome if they did confirm MSG for Survivor Series, since it's the PPV of the "Big Four" I haven't attended yet. Being in the Garden would make it a no-brainer for me. Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted March 8, 2006 Do tickets go on sale before the card is announced? I remember my friends and I considered going to Judgment Day 2001 in Sacramento, but tickets went on sale a month and half or so before the card was announced, so we held off. (also because the prices were outrageous) Then when the card turned out to be headlined by Taker vs Austin Part Pi and Kane vs HHH in a chain match, we were glad we didn't purchase tickets at all. I heard WWE were still negotiating to come back to the Garden so hopefully they can confirm it soon enough. The PPV is in November so it still is a long way to go. And there's always ECW One Night Stand II, right?

Slickster 0 Report post Posted March 8, 2006 I wouldn't be surprised if WWE is intending on running SSeries in MSG and just hasn't announced it. However, Honolulu and London would be excellent backup choices. Glad to see Cincinnati gets its first WWE PPV. To put this in perspective, Cincinnati's last PPV was a WCW production (Souled Out 2000). Raleigh finally gets a PPV after SummerSlam 2000.
The Mandarin 0 Report post Posted March 8, 2006 Fantastic. Unforgiven is traditionally one of the worst PPVs in the year. Thanks, WWE!
Hoff 0 Report post Posted March 8, 2006 So..they go from Taboo Tuesday to Cyber Sunday? WTF? Are they just that stupid that they dont go with the obvious name for a PPV at that time of the year? DUH. I guess I'm also that stupid, as I have no idea what name you're talking about.

MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted March 9, 2006 How the hell could you people forget Halloween Havoc? They already use Great American Bash from WCW. And for those people going "But..but..the PPV is in November"..if the Simpsons can air the Treehouse of Horror Halloween Special the 2nd week of November, the WWE can air a PPV in early November called Halloween Havoc. Hell..they could even use Fall Brawl..Id take that over Cyber Sunday anytime, although the use of Fall Brawl would inevitable stir up the "OMG!!! WARGAMES!" and you know Vince ain't gonna do that. But..no..its Cyber Sunday, which while marginally better than Taboo Tuesday, its still the worst name of their PPVs.

If they insist on the Cyber name, since they already pilfered a WCW title, they should have just done ahead and used CyberSlam instead. However, I'm guessing they didn't want another "Slam" event. Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted March 9, 2006 I'm also excited because Vengeance has shown it can be something of a sleeper PPV since they moved it to the summer. Lt. Al Giardello 0 Report post Posted March 9, 2006 Like I needed more proof that the WWE hates Toronto and its fans. What the fuck are you talking about you ungrateful bastard! You guys are lucky to even get a PPV, espically when Calgary is more of a wrestling city than Toronto. In the last 4 years you guys had Wrestlemania, Summerslam and now Unforgiven, and your saying WWE hates Toronto? The last time we had a PPV in Calgary was in 1997! And we are lucky to even get a RAW or Smackdown once a year!

Just John 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2006 Hmm, no ppv's anywhere close to KC this year. Not that we have a great track record for ppvs anyway. The only ppvs I can think of that we've had... Over the Edge 1999 Slamboree 2000 Backlash 2002 Even if you don't factor in the Owen incident, that's a god-awful string of shows.

packwingfn 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2006 December 17 - Armageddon - Providence, Rhode Island That blog can't be correct. They just had Armageddon in Providence this year. I was there, I couldn't imagine having another Armageddon in the same city unless it's gonna be some kind of tradition. Rhode Island has only had 4 ppvs in 12 years so I dont find this reliable. And why would they have the 20th annual Survivor Series in Puerto Rico and not New York or even that place where they always had the Survivor Series (Ohio?)
