I guess I've been here for a while, I think Jer told me to come post in the CE board, and a bit of wrestling and games, JUUUST after 9/11.

Whatever, the active topic of the day was Frank Zappa Mask's modest proposal, I think....

Anyone remember a date?

I remember the earlier incarnation of this board. The only thread that sticks out was Choken One's "What the hell is going on here!?!?" (or something like that). It was about the 9/11 attacks as they happened.

4 years is a long time. I've lived in three states and two continents over that time period. Yet I've managed to post here this entire time.

Crazy.

FUCK I JUST GOT SHOT

Every time this comes up I always get put to shame by the "I was at the Delphi forum, n00b" crowd.

Cue BX. (He was hanging around here the other day.)

Chave became established with the Saga.

As did you.

And we joined at roughly the same time too.

Yeah, weird that. Early '03 was the time for good posters to join.

Liar.

Hey it's 4 years for me too, I joined in Feb 02 for the big grand opening (I had been on the ez board one and rantslyvania for awhile before that but didnt post much) At first I did all my posting at College, cuz I didn't have a PC at my house ( I still had damn webtv at the time and it took too long to post). Damn I had a big gap from 03-04 cuz I stopped going to college in 03 and didnt get a pc until march of 04. then I was only at 300-some odd posts.

long time, wow.

Anyone here used to post at the Rant Crew at rantsylvania way back when? I did a few times. (I still have a printed copy of my review of an XPW live event in 2000)

Holy fuck I remember that one.

Yeah, I think that was TheSmarks.com incarnation, the Scott Keith days.

I've been here about six or seven months longer than the register date for this identity, as I had a gimmick poster before this. I mainly talked wrestling with it, but was completely offensive in every other folder.

Dave Dymond is old jokes are so 2000.

I had an account when the board was Rantsylvania, but I rarely if ever used it. To show you how long ago that was, my account name was "Diamond Dave 2000" because it wasn't 2000 yet, and as you all remember, everything was all "2000" then.

I posted all the time at The Smark Board, with Hoof there and others.

By the time this place became TSM, I had already left thanks to SK and gone to WDI (RIP) but I signed up here when it opened anyway. I know I've been online since 97. I remember reading that Bret was leaving the WWF the night of Survivor Series, right before the show started. I posted on boards back then, so that's what...9 years I've been posting on forums, and I've been around this one as at least a lurker since it started.

Actually at this point, I'm pretty much a lurker here. I have as many posts in four years here that I used to do in a day when this was The Smark Board.

gPc.

My story begins in Nineteen dickety two. We had to say "dickety" because the Kaiser had stolen our word for "twenty." I chased him down the road but gave up after dickety-six miles.

To show you how long ago that was, my account name was "Diamond Dave 2000" because it wasn't 2000 yet, and as you all remember, everything was all "2000" then. You see, back in those days, rich men would ride around in Zeppelins, dropping coins on people, and one day I seen J. D. Rockefeller flying by. So I run of the house with a big washtub.

I’d just used it that morning to wash my turkey, which in those days was known as... a walking bird. We'd always have walking bird on Thanksgiving with all the trimmings: cranberries, injun eyes, yams stuffed with gunpowder. Then we'd all watch football, which in those days was called "baseball".

Not many people know this, but I own the first radio on the board. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. 'A' he'd say. Then 'B'. 'C' would usually follow.

Anyway, to cut a long story short... is a phrase whose origins are complicated and rambling.

Now play Reign In Blood.

The song (technically "Raining Blood", before the other metalheads get on my ass for that) or the whole album?
