MillenniumMan831 Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 I don't know how they're squeezing all that onto 3 discs.
pochorenella Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 Mother-fricking sweet!! This will be mine on release day. I don't know how they're squeezing all that onto 3 discs I echo those sentiments.
The Amazing Rando Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 Can't most DVDs hold 4 hours of material? If the main show is the first disk, the WM Weekend/SNME the second disk, and the HOF the third disk, it should fit fine.
Guest droptoehold Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 If they put the effort into the tv shows that that have been into the dvd's there would be no complaints....im at the point where I'll buy almost anny wwe dvd. bravo
The Amazing Rando Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 Who even won that battle royal? I can not remember at all.
haVoc Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 How much is a 3 disc set going to be? I'll wait for it to be marked down because all I want is the HOF.
pochorenella Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 Who even won that battle royal? I can not remember at all Viscera, unfortunately. How much is a 3 disc set going to be? I'll wait for it to be marked down because all I want is the HOF It'll be something like $25 if you pre-order thru the usual sites like amazon, etc. At WWEShopzone they might even throw some extra goodies as usual when you buy the DVD.
Masked Man of Mystery Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 a double sided disc isn't out of the question
Dangerous A Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 Eh, not worth $25 of my money. The Show was good, don't get me wrong, just not good enough for $25 and a spot in my collection. If WM21 wasn't good enough for my shelf, this sure isn't.
Just John Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 Eh, not worth $25 of my money. The Show was good, don't get me wrong, just not good enough for $25 and a spot in my collection. Agreed. It was way better than it had any right to be given the build, but it still was still a pretty average show overall. I have Mickie/Trish and Edge/Foley downloaded to my computer which are the only two matches on that show I'd care to see again. And I thought most people didn't like SNME? Why is this a selling point all of a sudden?
daileyxplanet Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 This is all going on 3 discs? Aren't regular Mania's spread across 3?
Masked Man of Mystery Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 This is all going on 3 discs? Aren't regular Mania's spread across 3? No, they take 2 discs and the third is some kind of extras.
Astro7x Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 They can compress stuff more than others so it fits by taking a hit in quality. Static shots like the Hall of Fame also take up less space.
daileyxplanet Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 Ah, okay, I was worried that everything was going to be crap (doesn't even known a WWE PPV on DVD).
Danville_Wrestling Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 Well I gotta buy this one. I own all the WrestleMania's except XV and XX.
SuperJerk Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 The Hall of Fame ceremony ALONE is worth the $25.
ChrisMWaters Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 The Hall of Fame ceremony ALONE is worth the $25. And Sherri's induction is worth half of it.
DrVenkman PhD Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 Most of WM22 takes up disc 1, the last hour of the show takes up disc 2 along with extras and SNME (remember, that's like 80 minutes after commercials are gone), and disc 3 is the HoF. That seems reasonable. Oh, I received an e-mail from Amazon the other day saying my pre-order price dropped from $25 to $19.xx, so that was nice. Edit: Was just verifying this line-up over on Silvervision... can someone from the UK tell me why "Mick Foley getting stitches" is called a "Hottie video". Where I come from, that word usage makes no sense for that situation.
pochorenella Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 Oh, I received an e-mail from Amazon the other day saying my pre-order price dropped from $25 to $19.xx, so that was nice. Even better then. Now I have to just wait and see what WWEShopzone comes up with as combo offers for the DVD set to decide which place to order from. Usually for just a couple of extra bucks you get either a T-shirt or a program/magazine at the shopzone.
Guest Deputy Marshall Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 The Hall of Fame ceremony ALONE is worth the $25. And Sherri's induction is worth half of it. And the The Blackjack's induction is worth a $10 mail-in rebate.
Lil' Bitch Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 I'm pretty sure the botches from Trish and Mysterio are getting edited and I wouldn't be surprised if they edit the crowd reaction for Cena / HHH like they did with Goldberg / Lesnar? Edit: I know the ECW ONS DVD is edited to hell, but are the "Fuck John Cena!" chants during Jericho / Storm kept intact?
Hawk 34 Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 If they edit the crowd, they would have to re-do the commentary, WWE has embraced the whole crowd hates Cena thing. I don't expect much edits and you cant really edit the botch from Trish/Mickie. It's like Brock's botch, it becomes a part of the story.
Wrestlefreak Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 If WM21 wasn't good enough for my shelf, this sure isn't. You think WM21 was better?! Granted, WM21 had some great matches(Angle/HBK, UT/Orton) but as an overall card, you've got to agree WM22 was better.
Scroby Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 I'm pretty sure the botches from Trish and Mysterio are getting edited and I wouldn't be surprised if they edit the crowd reaction for Cena / HHH like they did with Goldberg / Lesnar? Edit: I know the ECW ONS DVD is edited to hell, but are the "Fuck John Cena!" chants during Jericho / Storm kept intact? See now this is why I tape live PPV's, the DVD's are never the same. Yes the "fuck john cena" chants are still in there. WWE didn't edit the crowd at ONS, just the music................espically the sandman's enterance. If you didn't see the actual enterance and only saw the DVD version of Sandman's enterance you missed out on one of the greatest moments of the PPV.
Prime Time Andrew Doyle Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 See now this is why I tape live PPV's, the DVD's are never the same. I also do that. It feels weird watching the live WM's I have on tape and then watching the Anthology DVD's because of the editing.
