Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2006 I hate to say it but I think Kobe fits in with the TNT crew, he's better at studio work then I thought he'd be.
Ripper 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2006 He is DAMN good at studio work. Better than the entire ESPN crew and to my knowledge that is the first time he did it. I have always said great players would be better analyst than these fringe, lucky to have been in the league players they use sometimes. Unless its Tom Tolbert... Damaramu 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2006 What did Kobe say?
dh86 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2006 Kobe apparently thinks the world are fucking idiots. Well...alot of people are, but that shit doesnt fly with people that know basketball. Whatever dude. You quit. And as much as people are going to try and blame Flip Saunders here, the Pistons are stinking it up because the players on the court just got cocky. I will say it like this. The Pistons played a horrible game 1. They won by a shit load of points, but that took alot of bad shots, but they hit them. They had the swagger of this team shouldn't be on the court with us, and honestly it is biting them in the ass now. The shit that fell in game one, those same shots aren't falling now. Now they need to play basketball and none of that "Let me embarass you" ball they keep trying to play. Flip's coaching isnt helping..hes like Steve fucking Mariucci with the non adjustments...they are getting killed on the rebounds and he counters it with putting Prince at PF and Evans at SF AGAIN....with 5 big men sitting on the bench..its sickening
Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2006 I disagree with you Ripper. Tom Tolbert is trash.
Cheech Tremendous 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2006 I can't believe that Shawn Marion and Allen Iverson received votes for the first team. Those voters shouldn't be allowed to submit a ballot next year. They obviously aren't paying attention or taking their voting seriously. Um, did you look at their numbers? Its not like this was Malik Rose getting first place votes. Those guys both put up incredible numbers this year. I could give a shit less about numbers. If you vote Marion over Dirk or Lebron, you have no business voting on these things. It's as simple as that. Allen Iverson didn't make the playoffs. Let me say that again... didn't make the playoffs... in the NBA... everyone makes the playoffs in the NBA. He doesn't deserve first team, especially over guys like Nash, Kobe, Chauncey and D-Wade, who were all MVP candidates.
Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2006 Charles asked about why he "shut" down in game 7 and Kobe said "It doesn't matter if I would have scored 25 pts in that quarter. That's not how you beat the Suns" and he actually defended himself in a civil manner and was joking around with Charles and showed alot of ease and talked about how to beat Detroit and his thoughts on Cleveland. CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2006 Fuck fuck FUCK. I don't want to see the Lebrons in the Conference Finals! You may be the only one, aside from Detroit fans. LeBron vs. D-Wade? I'm up for that.
MillenniumMan831 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2006 Mr. Wallace looks a tad bit miffed . . . I guess he may be worried about those cats afterall.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2006 Dammit! If the Lebrons win this game the hype will be nauseating and Lebron will probably be declared better than Jordan, Magic, Bird, Shaq, Kareem, and everyone else combined!
chaosrage 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2006 Did Lebron murder your parents or something, Dama?
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2006 No.....he's just another product of nauseating hype that makes me hate someone. That and the favoritism he receives from league officials.
Guest NYankees Report post Posted May 18, 2006 Can you at least admit that Lebron has lived up to the hype so far Dama?
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2006 He's lived up to hype as being a great player. But he's not as good as he's hyped to be. He's hyped to be a god of basketball that nobody can touch. I think defenders are afraid to guard him b/c they know if they breath wrong in his direction they'll get a flagrant!
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 18, 2006 If Lebron played at Oklahoma, all of the hype in world wouldn't be enough in damarama's mind.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2006 If Lebron played at Oklahoma, all of the hype in world wouldn't be enough. Nope. Wrong. Couldn't be more wrong. I hate players that get way to much hype. I'd be sick of him.
chaosrage 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2006 What's up with the 'Lowering of the Hell in the Cell' music being played throughout the game?
Guest NYankees Report post Posted May 18, 2006 Damon Jones hits a three gets fouled. He shoots the free throw and misses and the rebound goes back to him he gets blocked on a three point attempt and the Pistons get the ball on a fast break and score an easy 2. What a funny series of events.

Dama you know you would have a picture of Lebron in your avatar and you would be giving him verbal blowjobs all up in these threads if he played at Oklahoma. Guest NYankees Report post Posted May 18, 2006 Billups just fouled out and the Cavs have a 3 point lead with 2.07 to go. Edit Carlito just fouled out as well.

Guest NYankees Report post Posted May 18, 2006 Ben Wallace just missed two huge free throws with a tied game and 40 seconds left. Refs fail to call an over the top foul against Wallace as he slammed into James.
chaosrage 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2006 How the shit is that not a foul on Wallace?
Guest NYankees Report post Posted May 18, 2006 Ilgauskas has played really shitty in the 4th quarter. I was thinking the same thing especially when Lebron made that pass that went right through Ilgauskas's fingers. Huge layup by Drew Gooden to give the Cavs a 2 point lead. Guest NYankees Report post Posted May 18, 2006 Wow. 1.9 seconds left. The clock almost ran out on the Pistons. Pistons have the ball down 2 with 2 seconds left.
Guest Smues Report post Posted May 18, 2006 I like that move, throwing the ball down the court and draining the clock. Now we see if it pays off.
