Guest Princess Leena Posted May 18, 2006 Report Posted May 18, 2006 He can get it fixed when his hand is amputated.
Guest Montresor Posted May 18, 2006 Report Posted May 18, 2006 You really ought to have it checked out, Kevin Brown.
Maztinho Posted May 18, 2006 Report Posted May 18, 2006 Most hospitals have a payment plan in place now. My ex-wife cut herself pretty bad while using a knife, two weeks before I got insurance and the hospital allowed us to pay it off in installments. It was only 350 to stitch her back up so we went for the no-interest option, but the interest was only like 5% if you wanted to pay it off in a year. Maybe 6 months. You need to get the hand checked on.
ZGangsta Posted May 18, 2006 Report Posted May 18, 2006 ....pay...for...broken...hand...fixing...? I'm confused. Right right, you don't live in Canada. I'm with Leena, be a man and work through it. You'll earn the respect of your new workplace AND have a great story to tell people in 10,20,30 years when they ask "hey why does old man Ripper only have one hand?"
Ripper Posted May 19, 2006 Author Report Posted May 19, 2006 If i broke my neck playing highschool football and didn't find out for a year and a half, I am quite sure my hand can make it a few days.
Guest Princess Leena Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 I know you can, Ripper. That's what I'm trying to tell these kids.
The Niggardly King Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 If i broke my neck playing highschool football and didn't find out for a year and a half, I am quite sure my hand can make it a few days. But you're older now... you are not the young black stallion that you used to be....
FroGG_NeaL Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 I know you can, Ripper. That's what I'm trying to tell these kids. No doubt, the only time I've been to the hospital for an injury was when I had the main artery in my left arm completly severed, had a seizure, bleed to death in the process, was revived and woke up in the ER. Good times, good times.
Black Lushus Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 FroGG_Neal walks the line I kinda like FroGG...however: http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?...dpost&p=2213706
FroGG_NeaL Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 Dude, that shit is all true, I assure you. I've got hospital bills like a mofo to prove it, not to mention my arm being pretty fucked up.
Black Lushus Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 haha "Come on baby, don't make me wear a rubber, my dick really is clean...wanna see my test results?"
FroGG_NeaL Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 Haha, that's great. And the Angle shit was a joke, man.
Black Lushus Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 Haha, that's great. I've actually had a girl tell me she didn't have any STDs once and would show me the papers to prove it (there were rumors about that she did, in fact have an STD)...I didn't hit it and I didn't look at the papers to see.
Guest Princess Leena Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 There's papers you get that says "DOES NOT HAVE CHLAMYDIA!"?
Black Lushus Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 sorta...when I've gotten myself tested, it's almost like a check sheet that lists all the diseases and a box to mark YES or NO. It also has some other random info. This girl, in particular had received a false positive for Herpes, went and got retested and it showed she was clean (or so she says).
Guest Princess Leena Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 Understandable. Anyway, back on topic. How big is your hand now, Rip?
Man Who Sold The World Posted May 20, 2006 Report Posted May 20, 2006 ............... I got one "And I will DESTROY YOU... WITH MY PALM STRIKE!"
Sideburnious Posted May 20, 2006 Report Posted May 20, 2006 Would it really cost 3500 to fix a broken hand?
EricMM Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 It can cost eight grand to set a broken arm... (if you want the painkiller..)
Ripper Posted May 23, 2006 Author Report Posted May 23, 2006 X-rays alone cost you about 1000 a pop and they would have to get multiple shots. They they would probably check to make sure there is no nerve damange which would cost another couple of grand. I was being nice with the 3500. And the swelling is pretty much gone down except in the two spots where you can tell its broken. 6 days till insurance.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 Will your insurance cover some pre-existing injury like, say, your hand?
Ripper Posted May 24, 2006 Author Report Posted May 24, 2006 What are you talking about. I hurt my hand next Monday building a concrete BBQ pit for Memorial day.
naiwf Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 What are you talking about. I hurt my hand next Monday building a concrete BBQ pit for Memorial day. I'm sure that the X-Rays won't show that your hand had been broken beforehand.
