Speaking of Guzman, he's been called up, which probably means he's going to get Wood's start. I'm hoping Marmol gets to go in place of Rusch next time out. Fernando Nieve gave up a 2 run homer to Andruw Jones in the bottom of the first, so Jorge Sosa gave up back to back jacks to Biggio and Mike Lamb to lead off the bottom of the first. Yeesh. Well, at least the Astros are playing inspired ball again. They're, to coin a phrase "playing the game the right way". It's not the end all be all stat, but lets keep the NY ranting about your pitching in perspective. Even with Johnson falling apart, the Yanks seem to be holding up on the pitching end, and don't they lead the league in runs? Toronto has definitely had the chances to bang Bonderman around tonight. I'm hoping the Tigers can hold on and get out of this with the win. After being slapped around the past week and a half, this would make 2 in a row for them.
