The Amazing Rando Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 Since it's going to be done anyway, what the hell: http://lillianfalls.ytmnd.com/ You magnificent bastard.
cabbageboy Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 The Lillian thing is eventful? They can't job RVD out now. There is literally no way. Sabu? Sure. He could go for some insane move and miss, kill himself, Rey covers for a 3. But they have set it up to where somebody has to win a title so they can branch off with an ECW belt. It's easy to do. As someone said, there might be a WWE ref for the title matches. He gets bumped, give Cena a phantom 3 count, new ECW ref comes in, RVD eventually wins, renames the belt and all that for the crowd, then on Raw Vince says no way and gives the title back to Cena (while RVD is now recognized as ECW champ).
Jericholic82 Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 I saw haas hit the ropes and someone fall and I was all "did he just kill lillian?" then no one said anything until the liilian chants started (and nitro had haas in an ab. stretch and said " shutup about lillian" or somethin) that was weird and sad. anyhow raw was kinda blah but not too bad I guess. eventually they are going to have to explain to the audience whether or not the announcers are seeing the backstage antics, cux king and jr were acting like they thought hhh was drugged. how are they going to explain this kane angle outside of its someone playing mind games? why such a big deal about the kiss my ass club? regal was the only one who ever kissed it willingly (or without getting attacked and forced)
The Niggardly King Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 HAAS OF FIRE~! will be the only thing that saved the show tonight. I wonder how Smackdown will be after this Raw? Oh and the perfect ending for One Night Stand would be a 5* Frog Splash, Cena kicks out at 2... F-U, then the STFU while RVD taps and does his "OWWWWWWIIIEEEE!" yell. I don't think Shelton Benjamin has ever defeated Carlito... it's sad to go back and watch their matches back when Carlito first arrived and see how much the crowd difference is to the both of them.
slimm44 Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 Add Beth Phoenix to the injured list as well. And Funk is going to be in the 20 man battle royal on wednesday...I dont know how smart that is
Ravenbomb Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 he'll get the Iron Shiek WM17 win where he only wins because they can't have him get thrown over the top rope
Downhome Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 I'm a huge fan of Terry Funk, have been all my life, but my God does he look bad off here lately. How was his last match that he had?
Ravenbomb Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 I'm a huge fan of Terry Funk, have been all my life, but my God does he look bad off here lately. How was his last match that he had? He bladed, and a cloud of dust covered the ring
MrRant Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 Odd. Charlie looked a lot more like Beecher last week in Tacoma. Hell he STILL looks like Beecher.
Astro7x Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 Why isn't Kurt Angle our World Champion? I love this new Kurt Angle
Downhome Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 Charlie Hass should at least be glad that he doesn't have a push for WWE to kill right now.
The Niggardly King Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 Charlie Hass should at least be glad that he doesn't have a push for WWE to kill right now. He gave himself a chance tonight to end up in the opening RAW video package... his part can go right after Shelton gets Superkicked.
skullman80 Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 Just got back from Raw... What a terrible terrible show. The ECW stuff is being booked ass backwards. Vince/HHH in the main event is boring... Cena sucks...blah blah blah. I'm just so sick of the same crap over and over every single week. The most entertaining thing all night was seeing Lillian get knocked off the apron.
The Niggardly King Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 I like the idea of a Charlie Haas doesn't give a fuck about anyone gimmick. Like for the next RAW, they can show him arriving and he runs over Eugene. Just have him be oblivious to the whole thing and still try to play a face.
Jericholic82 Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 a better quesiton is: what the heck kind of music did they give haas? they took away the awesome TWGTT theme for that? crap! also charlie needs to cut his hair, he looks much older now with that longer greaseball look
skullman80 Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 Any notes about crowd reactions and stuff? Angle got the biggest pop of the night, although I'm not sure if everything was shown on TV. We tried numerous times to get a full fledged ECW chant going, but there were alot of kids/girls in the audience who didn't even know what ECW was. Cena got a decent pop, tried to drown it out with boos, but not sure how that worked out. HHH got a pretty good pop when he first came out, and then again at the end when he pedigreed Vince and the crotchchop afterwards on the rampway, although once again not sure what was shown on TV. Orton got some heat for giving Angle the RKO, but nothing great. It was just an all around "blah" show...I don't really know what else to say. Oh and Harry Smith did wrestle on Heat.
Wally Balls Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 not being as smarkish as the rest of you guys... I've never been a fan of ECW. I've always watched WWF/WWE so that's why I hope every single WWE superstar wins at ONS...especially Cena.......I don't see this ECW promotion getting too far anyway....at least not with the current washed up roster they have now.
skullman80 Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 Pic from my seats. I was first row from the floor. I'll try to get some more up tomorrow. Took them with my cell phone so not sure how they came out. This was when the doors first opened, before Heat etc....
NoCalMike Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 My problem with ONS as it is now, is that is being advertised as an ECW show. This is going to be a problem for any wrestling fan that doesn't really like/keep up with WWE, tuning in expecting an ECW show. If Vince wanted to do a WWE vs. ECW PPV then fine, and hey it isn't a bad idea, but then they should have just advertised it as that, and then they could have had the Wednesday show take place a week or two before the PPV to SET UP the PPV, but as it is now, the Wednesday show and the ONS PPV aren't going to feel that different from each other.
The Niggardly King Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 I like Sandman being really stiff then in an instant goes to business exposing.
Jericholic82 Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 anyone else think its painfully obvious that Umaga is wwes answer to Samoa Joe?
ChrisMWaters Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 anyone else think its painfully obvious that Umaga is wwes answer to Samoa Joe? I figured that when he was first introduced.
Molotov The Bear Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 That had to be one of the worst Raws in history. I'm not one who usually tosses around phrases like that, but man this show was horrid. Not only was most of it forgettable, but what important stuff they did was insanely counter productive. Shall we review: --ECW's guys are effectively heels now, having all attacked John Cena. And then they ran like cowards when the WWE guys came out. This just blew my mind. I could see a huge fight with everyone involved and they go to break, then come back saying "During the break we got things under control." Uhm, hey guy...you DO realize they did that exact same thing last year? Their not playing ECW as either heels or faces, their the Anti-establishment tweeners.
Gary Floyd Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 Thoughts on Raw -Pretty bad show tonight, though Lilian Garcia's unintended bump was a major highlight -I gotta agree with cabbageboy: It looks to me like they are booking ECW to look like heels right now. Oh, I know they are supposed to be tweeners, but they sure don't look like it. Plus, would it kill them to at least turn Cena heel for this event? Oh, and I'm sick and tired of hearing JR saying Cena is "One of The Most Controversial Champion in WWE History." At least Lawler is being a heel announcer again, and wasn't too annoying tonight. -While I never liked RVD that much, I always thought he was gold compared to Sabu. That blown spot tonight really makes you realize how much his match at ONS will suck. -They've really ruined Trish vs. Mickey. They took one of the most entertaining things of the year, and fucked it all up. Granted, I knew it would happen eventually, but still: Thanks for nothing WWE. -I am officially sick and tired of Umaga. From now on, I am changing the channel when he comes on. -The fact that the main feud right now is HHH vs. Vince is just sad. Plus, did we really need all that bullshit about Vince getting an "Asscial?" If he could, I think he literally would fuck his own ass. -Finally, we got the unwanted (unless you are Leena) return of Randy Orton.
Golgo 13 Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 In all fairness to Sabu, I thought they laid Cena out in a weird way, much too far from the turnbuckle where (I guess) he was supposed to jump from and did. Though he still shouldn't have tried it from that distance, especially with his rep since it was bound to get messed up. But he could've just been attempting to be a glory hog with the long jump and the guys did have Cena set up right, so whatever.
Ravenbomb Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 Odd. Charlie looked a lot more like Beecher last week in Tacoma. Hell he STILL looks like Beecher. So's he gonna grow his nails out and slice up people for his new gimmick?
MrRant Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 Odd. Charlie looked a lot more like Beecher last week in Tacoma. Hell he STILL looks like Beecher. So's he gonna grow his nails out and slice up people for his new gimmick? At least he'd have a personality. We can pretend that Lillian was like the girl that Beecher hit with his car while drinking. He can go to wrestler court and be found guilty and be sentenced to be JBL's bitch or something. Then after a couple months, he'll just wig the fuck out.
Guest Hotbutter Spoontoaster Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 Harry Smith is only getting a dark match, he isn't debuting on TV or anything yet. Well...I saw him on TV tonight. Best debut ever, too. Can't wait to see Funk get killed getting thrown over the tope rope by...Mark Henry. That'll be sweet.
