Refute this statement

I won't spoil the PPV but after tonight you'll most likely be seeing Joe take on Low-Ki for the X-Division title and they've been building Ki up as a guy to beat Joe for the title. I'm pretty sure they'll want to keep Joe as far as possible from Nash but I get where you're coming from with it being silly in terms of how Nash has positioned himself.

There's not much doubt the Nash/Shelley stuff is funnier than anything WWE has put out in a while... but, that's not saying much.
*DING*DING*DING*

Hit the nail on the head right there.

How is it goofy? Edge got the highest ratings as champion than anyone is quite some time. I believe his match against Flair has been the highest rated TV main event this year in the very least.

Anywho, it's a good pairing, but I'm not saying it's a good angle until I see the blow off. If Alex Shelley and whoever will put out Nash at the end are the only two getting over with this feud while the rest of the guys who are part of the angle look like small jobbers, blah. But hey, it's entertaining right now, and I like how no one is defending Nash on the show, if that makes sense.

Ratings and being a draw are two different things and to be quite honest, Danny Basham could've taken the title off of Cena and everybody still would've tuned in to see him. It wasn't about Edge, it was about seeing somebody not named John Cena as champ. The Flair match did well because people wanted to see a spotfest. Still isn't really proof that Edge is a draw.

yea plus on the night after his win, he promised a live sex celebration. so of course you got a few peoples attention

however he is the only real top Heel Raw has created in years, and he is good as a cocky heel so I give him that.

razazteca is right about Nash getting someone over.

For all the good it'll do. TNA buried the X-Divison so bad with how they handled moving the Big Three out of it, that I have little faith in them being able, or willing, to turn it back into the promotion's calling card.

...if you forget that Hogan, Andre, Savage, Austin, Rock, Foley, HHH, and Taker ever held the belt.

The pairing of Kevin Nash and Alex Shelley in TNA is a better use of stars then WWE, not to mention being better handled then any angle WWE has done in a while.

As of the recent PPV... statement refuted.

There still is Senshi, Jay Lethal, Petey Williams, Eric Young, Sharkboy and whatever international stars they can sign to make the division the gateway for new fans. Now Sabin and Sonjay might be damaged but its not the end of the world for them with people having short term memories and nobody mentioning the name of Nash all it would take to repair them is a few weeks of the total nonstop action of ultimate x, gauntlet, and tag matches to get them over. Or they can get whoever is hot in ROH to carry the division.
