I'm happy, even if people thought I was crazy during the early rounds :)

Looking at the matchups for week 1 and the projections, my 171 points ranks in the upper part of the rest of the teams. Not that that means anything but it makes me happy for now.

I don't know what to think of my offense I got the Chargers QB, the only Bengal not in jail and the Cowboy who might not start at RB, thats it!

My team could range anywhere from awesome to terrible. Shawn Alexander's coming off injury, Marshawn Lynch is a rookie and i wish i went for someone other than Thomas Jones in the 2nd round, other than Anquan Boldin my WR's, QB's and Tight End are all question marks.

The one part of my team i am confident in is my defence. Keith Bulluck, Brian Urlacher, Zach Thomas & Mike Peterson at DL, Ronde Barber, Gibril Wilson, Sean Taylor and Antoine Winfield at DB. Without looking at everyone else i can't imagine anyone has a defensive lineup to match that.

I just hope Vince Young can keep his ego down so he can play well/ not get suspended.

I predict a year full of injuries like his predecessors of McNair and McNabb. The Titans have absolutely nothing on offense which will force him to literally run for his life and the first down.

Still only 12 of the 14 teams have signed in to next week's (8/28) draft. If you are not one of the below 12 teams and you got the PM, please make your team. If the teams aren't in by the end of Saturday, we'll get two other teams in their place.

Isotopes

Vick's Dog Fighters

Gotham Harlequins

Deep Space Niner

HHH

Texas Lonestars

Pawtucket Patriots

Anyone else having trouble signing into Yahoo? If so, I'll hold off getting two more teams until they get their shit straightened out so the last two still have a chance to get in. If it is just me having problems let me know and we'll go about filling the league.

Also, time for another rousing edition of How'd I Do?

10 team league, 4th pick, PPR, QB/2RB/3WR/TE/D/K

1.04 - Brian Westbrook (4th RB taken)

2.17 - Marvin Harrison (3rd WR)

3.24 - Terrell Owens (8th WR)

4.37 - Marc Bulger (6th QB)

5.44 - Thomas Jones (19th RB)

6.57 - Laurence Maroney (keeper)

7.64 - Tony Gonzalez (4th TE)

8.77 - Mark Clayton (31st WR)

9.84 - LaMont Jordan (30th RB)

10.97 - Isaac Bruce (36th WR)

11.104 - Chester Taylor (36th RB)

12.117 - Jay Cutler (13th WR)

13.124 - Brandon Marshall (48th WR)

14.137 - Minnesota (10th D)

15.144 - DeShaun Foster (40th RB)

16.157 - Stephen Gostkowski (10th K)

I also have a offer out to get Torry Holt for Maroney and Mark Clayton, waiting to hear back. I know it is overpaying, but Clayton is fungible to throwing him in means nothing and getting Harrison/Holt/Owens as starters in a 3WR PPR league would be sick.

The tsm league? Whatever they were last year, just transferred the settings. If you meant my league, standard 1pt per 10 rush/rec yds, 6 per td, 1 per 25 pass yards, 4 per pass td, and ppr.

8:30 would be better. I didn't notice the change earlier and if I did I would not have been opposed anyways but that's because we're now in the playoffs and the schedule was not clear. I should be able to make it home before 8:30 depending on how the game goes. Thank you.

well, turns out moving it back was not an option. So I've changed it to Saturday at 7:30 since it seemed to go well for Harley's draft. Unless there are overwhelming objections that will be the draft day and time, because the prime time slots are getting full. If you can't make it, make sure to preorder.

Sounds good. at you mentioning me as I was typing this up. Do you mean RB where WR is (Jordan & Foster)? Also love the Foster grab so late. Sure he's in a RBBC but I think that too many people are in love with the "upside" of DeAngelo Williams vs. John Fox's consistent love of Foster and his veteran capabilities.

Last year, Foster had a 4.0 YPC vs. William's remarkable 4.1. In 2005, Foster had a 4.3 YPC.

I think a lot of FFers underestimate Foster b/c they are high on the "next young hot stud RB" rather than looking at the overall picture.

Yeah, I was shocked he was there that late and Williams went in the 7th round. I like Williams more, but if you are talking Williams at 7 and Foster at 15 I'll take Foster every day and twice on Sunday. I wasn't interested at all in taking a 6th back, but it was just ridiculous value. It also helped me propose the Holt deal since I figure Jones should be a good 2 and at least one of Jordan/Taylor/Foster should be able to step up as a low 3 to spell me for the bye weeks. Nothing wrong with more bullets in the chamber.

RBs taken after Williams

Jamal Lewis (1000 yards and 9 TDs last year)

Fred Taylor (1100 yards)

Ahman Green (1000 yards)

Julius Jones (1000 yards)

Jordan (awful last year, but monster year 2 years ago for PPR league. Offense has to improve)

Chester (1200 yards last year, looking at no worse of a platoon than Williams/Foster)

Brandon Jackson (young, but has lead for starter as opposed to committee)

Williams had 500 yards last year and I haven't seen anything so far to guarantee he gets many more looks this year.

Actually, I did not look at the bye weeks once until looking into the Holt trade to see where that left me. The RBs were just too good of value in the slots I got them. I had no intention of taking a 3rd RB until after the 6th where I had Maroney, but Jones in the 5th round was just all kinds of redonkulous. I was going to take a backup TE where I got Foster but Greg Olsen was snagged a couple picks ahead of me and there was no one else worth a pick.

Saturday is a no go for me. My g/f's coming up to spend Labor Day weekend with me in Houston and at 7:30, I'll more than likely be at Robertson Stadium watching the Houston Dynamo. The Tuesday draft time was all fine for me...maybe one the following Monday or maybe this Wednesday?
