Dragging someone is holding the right stick down and moving the left stick. I find it tricky. Alot of the time I end up picking them up or doing a grapple.

Wow, there doesn't sound like there are that many storylines on the game.

 

Well, I finished a season with Kennedy (once through Smackdown, once through Raw) and I've seen at least 4 or 5 storylines mentioned in this thread that I haven't had yet. The Legends story and the Rumble story repeated, but besides that, all different. So there's a few more than last year at least.

 

I'm actually quite happy with the game. I very quickly dropped the stamina mode (although you still get tired if you do the environmental moves for too long, which is acceptable) and I altered the controls so circle is grapple and what have you, so it was easier to get into. The improvements to the Ladder and Table Matches are welcome and the actual feel of the game is better than last year.

 

The only real problems I've found are the commentary (which is easily solved), the lack of CAW moves and the fact that despite improving it for 06 on PSP, they haven't improved the Rumble to make it harder to throw people out. Rumbles still last 20 minutes at most.

I got the "magic wand turns you into a woman" storyline last night. my God, it's horrible and it is NOT just a dream. Not only does the wand turn you into a woman, but lots of other crazy shit goes down also.

No kidding eh, they clearly state so at the end of the angle. Pay attention, Downhome. The angle is great if only for lines like "Edge sounds like he should be coming to work on a flying carpet" from Lawler and Boogeyman stating he is coming to get you, but in the voice and language of Daivari.

I'm not using a CAW but, just to clarify, is the problem that you won the world title (the only belt you can win in Season, AFAIK - although I did have a chance to fight Kane and Snitsky for the tag titles but elected to teach spotlight hogging Masters a lesson) or that people are winning exhibition mode titles and wondering where they are in season or vice versa?

Yes and I ment while playing season mode, not in regular matches. I haven't seen my CAW wear the title in season mode at all. Did Yukes just leave that out?

no he is shirtless. I don't understand it either, maybe CAWs just don't wear a title in season mode.

About the CAW/Title deal, it all depends on the motions in your entrance

Yeah. My CAW had Hassan's entrance and he wore the belt all the way through from ramp to ring.

I heard that some motions can have it, and some can't...so it's apparently possible to have the belt at certain stages of your entrance but not others (have it as you walk down the ramp, but not in the ring or at the entrance, for example)

Couple quick questions I asked in another topic that I should have asked here (X-Box 360 version):

 

- Are Survivor Series (elimination tags) in the game?

- How many people can be in the ring at a given time in a Royal Rumble match?

Some elements of this game I like a LOT. The Ultimate Control moves are awesome, I think the gameplay works pretty well as well (it makes sense to have the lower strength grapple moves easier to do and your opponent needs to be softened up to hit the harder ones). Create an entrance kicks all sorts of arse, especially as you can time the pyro to perfection. My guy comes out with the 'fan favourite' entrance (to Rise Against, one of my favourite bands is in the game, that rocks), spreads his arms and BANG! I can set Booker T's pyro off at exactly the right moment. Then he walks through silhouetted against the flame. You can't tell me that's not cool.

 

HOWEVER, it really REALLY fucks me off that Super Crazy can't fucking kick Trevor Murdoch. Where's the sense in that? Oh yeah, and don't get me started on the lack of moves in the CAW section. If they'd fix those two things I'd be happy with this game. As it is, considering I mainly enjoy the CAW system... I may revert to 06.

Yeah, 3v3 elimination tag.

And 6 is the max in the Rumble at any one time.

Just something I thought was pretty cool. An easy way, to get unlimited tables. (And contrary to the comments, that say you can only get two, you can get however many you want)

 

 

Basically, break the table in the crowd area. Then do the throw the person in the crowd animation with a chair in front of them. (The chair will push both you and the opponent into the crowd. Then you can walk over and get tables if you're in the right spot...as the video shows.

You have to preview some part of the intro..and then actually set it off when you want to. (Same with the nameplate, and camera changes)

Yea it is. Especially when you set the pyro, and then want to change it (just alittle bit)...and the pyro you already set always goes off right before you want to set it.

Shit, they screwed up the Rumble dynamic as well. You come in the ring, you get 5 guys going to toss you, and if you've got 2 guys on you, shit, may as well re-start.

 

I don't need a two-hour rumble, but for a 30-man Rumble to be done in 15 minutes is just ridiculous. The bar speed doesn't take into account your damage, so a guy that just came in and was Irish whipped over is as easy to dump as the #1 entry that's all orange (any red part = instant elimination if you go over the ropes).
