I was at the show, here are some quick results

Khali and Davairi came out, declined the challenge made by Undertaker for a match at Summerslam. Taker came out, no slow walk, fought Khali and ended with a chokeslam. Khali and Davairi ran off.

James and Stevens w/ Michelle McCool beat London and Kendrick

Helms beat Tatanka

The Diva Search talent contest was surrounded with boos for the main part. You'll have to wait for full results, but the black chick won. The first contestant poured beer down her shirt, the black chick tried a striptease but kept slipping on the puddle of beer, so she picked up the can and tossed it at the first chick, but she moved and the can came at me. But I swatted it down and it rolled around someone else's feet. The third girl did a kickboxing demonstration, and JT (yes the only girl's name I could remember) told the 3 contestants off, but was booed so loud I couldnt hear. Luke Perry was a special judge

Vickie Guerrero tried to talk to Chavo and Rey seperately. Chavo didn't like Rey using the Guerrero name when he wasn't full blooded Guerrero. Rey promised Vickie to try and not fight Chavo.

Rey and Mr. Kennedy went to a no contest after Chavo came out and fought him, Vickie Guerrero came out and Rey bumped her, and she fell in the aisle. Chavo played it off that Rey

Terkay beat a no-namer (his shorts said Starr Struck) in a quick squash.

Batista/Lashley beat Regal/Finlay

I probably forgot something, but that's in the correct order it was shown.

No Booker? Weird.

Unless he was doing commentary for the tag main event in which case the show is a must see.

Yeah, he did a backstage promo with Sharmell saying he would prove to be a true champion and beat Batista at Summerslam, and was on commentary during the main event. (That match was made and an ECW title match featuring Big Show and a question mark)

Were Regal/Finlay cohesive as a team or are my dreams of them feuding with London and Kendrick over?

I read at wrestling observer that:

"Divari and Kahli did an interview with the Taker coming out to fight Kahli later on they announced a last man standing match between the two for smackdown next instead of the ppv"

Does this make sence to you ? It's from the WO's site

Apparently they're doing their last man standing match next week on Smackdown instead of at Summerslam. I wonder why, maybe the card is too loaded or they don't think Khali will be able to work it convincingly enough for the 2nd biggest show of the year or something.

I was at the show, too. We got lost on the way there and missed Helms/Tatanka and the Khali/Taker angle, but got there just in time to see London and Kendrick job to the Teacher's Pets or whatever.

Luke Perry and the Diva Search meant it was time to go buy a $6 burger, so I don't know or care what happened.

Rey vs. Kennedy was alrightish. Rey's reversal of the Kenton bomb was superb. There was a relatively loud "Chavo sucks" chant during the whole Rey/Chavo/Vicki thing.

There was another MVP skit around here.

Vito beat Sylvan with whatever it is he does. Crowd popped for Vito's entrance but was dead for the match.

I think we got a "Boogeyman returns" here.

Booker & Sharmell backstage skit somewhere around here.

Turkay with Burke squashed a jobber. I like the gimmick.

They showed Finlay and Regal arguing backstage.

Lashley and Batista vs. Finlay and Regal was pretty damned good. Lashley played face in peril for most of the match. Mostly by-the-numbers, but a ton of fun for what it was. Batista's entrance was awesome live.

Batista then cut a promo in the ring thanking Booker for keeping his title warm, but that he'll need it back come SummerSlam.

King Booker vs. Batista for the World Heavyweight Title was the dark match main event. Batista won by DQ after Sharmell hit him with a low blow.

Tekcop and I were at the show and it was very good. We got there late so we missed Taker/Khali and the dark match(damn mapquest). Anyways:

Teacher's Pets beat London and Kendrick with a roll up in a non-title match.

The Miz came out(to very annoying screaming girls) and the diva search thing happened...we went to get food during this.

Backstage skit with Rey and Vickey...nothing special.

Mr. Kennedy beat Rey by countout in a pretty good match. Chavo ran in and they brawled outside. Vickey came to ringside to break them up and Rey accidentaly hit her. Lots of Eddie chants.

MVP and Long had a skit backstage.

Turkay beat some jobber.

Regal and Finlay are backstage trying to get along...nice promo.

Vito defeated Sylvan with the tea-bag or whatever the fuck it is. Baaaad match.

Boogeyman Return video.

Booker backstage with Sharmell. Very funny promo. Booker is awesome.

Main Event: Batista and Lashley defeated Finaly and Regal after a double spear and a Spinebuster from Tista.

Booker and Sharmell were doing commentary for this and when the match was over Batista called Booker out.

All and all it was very fun and i cant wait to see how it came across on TV. Our dark match was Booker vs. Batista. Tista won by DQ.

Biggest Pops: Batista, Rey, The Miz

Most Heat: Kennedy, Regal/Finlay

That's like asking why have the Spirit Squad in the Raw main event for 5 months only to completely bury them at SNME.

If Taker takes out Khali before Summerslam...

...and if they're willing to keep him out of the ECW title match...

For some sick reason, I'd like to see an Extreme Rules match between The Undertaker and Sabu.
