I can just imagine Vince getting cute and have Show retain the title at D2D only to lose it to Lashley the next Tuesday. It would seem hard to maintain the integrity of the Elimination Chamber (yeah, I know, integrity and WWE go together like peanut butter and shingles) and still execute a proper heel turn for Lashley. How is Heyman going to screw Show out of the belt unless he is in the chamber?

He could simply low blow him with a club/crowbar through the openings, "freeze" him in the pod to prevent him from coming out. Raise the chamber during the match. All sorts of ways.

--Less than 1,700 tickets have been sold for Sunday's ECW PPV in Augusta, GA

The good thing is that it will be a small crowd. Now weather the crowd is a good ECW crowd, well that remains to be seen.

See what happens when you promote something with only 1 match booked for the show?

I don't know why people think that Heyman has to screw Show out of the title in order to have him leave TV for a while.

Why not have it come down to Lashley and Show, like it should. Lashley pins Show to win the title. Either after the match or on Tuesday Lashley confronts show then beats the crap out of him.

If Heyman doesn't turn on Show then if Lashley turns heel on his own to take out Show, that makes Heyman a de facto babyface. That helps nobody. Heyman turning on Show and siding with Lashley keeps Heyman a heel, and a strong one for once again screwing someone of the title, and it also gives Lashley a mouthpiece, which he badly needs because he can't talk a lick.

Also, it forces Lashley to work with RVD and that's horrible on all accounts as Heyman can't carry the weight of RVD/Lashley as his mouthpiece on his own.

ECW really can't put Lashley/RVD as the main program, no matter what. It cant possibly work in the ring or outside it. Heyman can only do so much.

RVD's time has passed. Time to move with Punk instead. Punk/Lashley works better for the company far greater then RVD would with Lashley.

I understand what you are saying, but ECW has had two World Title changes, both of which Heyman had his hand in. He doesn't have to be there for Lashley to get over. This is how it can play out.

Tuesday night:

ECW show opens. Show comes out to the ring and calls out Lashey. Lashley comes out. Show then says that the better man won. Shakes Lashley's hand and the fans pop for him. It's a respect thing. Once Show has his back turned Lashley attacks Show. That's the explanation on how Show can leave.

Later in the show Heyman confronts Lashley about what he did and rips into him for knocking out his hand picked champion. Lashley then has a match against CM Punk later in the night. Heyman comes down to the ring to watch Lashley. It's an "ECW Rules" match and Lashley beats the crap out of Punk. Just as he's about to put Punk out of action Heyman calls down his security. The security stands in front of Lashley and they look like they are about to beat him down but they turn around and all three take out Punk. This is the Heel turn and sets up Lashley vs Punk for the World Title!

I know that's a very typical but at least it's not the same Heyman comes out and causes the champion to lose the title to the next big heel managed by Heyman.

Heyman turning on TBS in favor of Lashley would make sense, and it would also show continuity in his character, because even dating back to his days on Smackdown the "Heyman" character has a habit of building up someone to championship material and then turning on them as soon as he finds the "next big thing" to manage.

As far as the show itself, if it fails, show-wise,attendance-wise and buyrate wise, Vince has no one to blame but himself, as he took a brand name that people wanted, and molded it into his own beast. While it hasn't been all bad, and sometimes actually quite good, it definately has NEVER BEEN what it was advertised as in the beginning.

I'm ordering it, and will be hosting the usual crowd over at my house.....so at least if this ppv brings misery, I will have company!!!

Show is dropping the title tonight, guaranteed.

Don't really need Heyman to turn on TBS. They could have the champion eliminated early for a change.

Honestly it wouldn't suprise me if Show is one of the first participants eliminated.

Here's my prediction, complete with Lashley heel turn, since that seems so definite.

Entry:

1. RVD

2. CM Punk

3. Test

4. Sabu

5. Big Show

6. Lashley

Elimination

1. Sabu: Big Show eliminates him almost immediately upon entering.

2. Test: eliminated by Punk

3. Big Show: eliminated mid-way through by an RVD splash off the top of the chamber.

4. Punk: Lashley gets to pin him clean

5. RVD: RVD is about to hit a big move, like a Five-Star or something, but Heyman's security come in and attack, allowing Lashley to recover and hit a spear, dominator, or whatever for the win. Afterwards, the heel turn is revealed, as Lashley and Heyman celebrate.

The only other option I can see is Punk winning, after Lashley is eliminated mid-way through interference from Heyman's security (this would be without a heel turn of course). Everyone else seems like they have zero chance of winning.

Here is the thing, if Heyman turns on TBS, then presumably he has to be there in the end, but it seems more people would be interested in seeing Big Show get eliminated first so the excitement of crowning a new champ is there the rest of the way out for the match.

If Heyman does end up helping Lashley to win the match, but Big Show isn't there to be turned on, then it would seem more like Lasley is joining the faction, which would maybe lead to a Lashley/TBS confrontation on ECW next week where the official turn would be made.

Show going out first could happen if they want to save his last full on match for Lashley on Tuesday. It would also be something they can build to for Tuesday and the turn might actually get seen by more than 100,000 people.

Just to give you another example of how little WWE cares about tonight's ECW December to Dismember PPV, they haven't even bothered to tape one of their trademark pre-shows in the studio.
