House

I thought it was alright, for a Foreman episode.

Are you saying Foreman episodes are generally bad? IMO, Euphoria (both parts) is the best House episode to date, and the 2nd part especially revolves around Foreman.

actually I quite enjoyed this glimpse into Foremans past and pysche. A lot of stuff makes sense now with what he confided to the dying woman (he's so obssesed with being the best he can be, cuz he's afraid someone will realize he "isn't supposed to be here")and the whole thing with his mom's illness.

I didn't really enjoy the pacing of this episode. The ending seemed rushed. One second both kids are dying, the next they're both cured.

House v. Hector and House's new cane were the high points for me.

I must apologize for my earlier remarks. Somehow I missed Euphoria last year. Awesome work by Mr. Epps, especially in that scene with his dad. "If I'm not scared of dying, what am I supposed to be scared of?"

Wilson and House secretly doping each other and it leading to House finding the cure was great. How EXACTLY he figured out she made a pill out of drain-o to try and die, I will never figure out. But drugged out of his head Wilson was classic, absolutely classic television.

And Foreman is just begging House to give him a reason to stay but he's such an arrogant prick he won't admit it. It's actually cool and I really hope Omar isn't really leaving the show. He was the best character on ER before he got hit by a damn subway train and the Foreman/House clashes are awesome. Plus his cocky laugh when House says something is awesome.

Piper might be an interesting addition to the show but I hope she's coming back next season. Feels a little late to be tossing in a House romance angle with only like two or three episodes left in the season.

I just picked up Seasons 1 & 2 at Best Buy for $50. Fantastic deal.

I hope that Foreman doesn't actually end up leaving. I figure they'll do something like when Cameron quit, only to come back later on after House interviewed people but didn't want to hire any of them.

Wilson on speed may have been the best moment of the season "Did I just wink at you? I never wink at patients, why am I putting gloves on for a breast exam?"

Pretty nice episode. I especially liked House sending the entire staff on a wild goose chase trying to find who sabotaged Foreman's interview.

Season finale looks nice too. "Is this heaven?" "No, it's New Jersey."

'House' to follow Super Bowl

Fox schedules medical drama after game

By MICHAEL SCHNEIDERPaging Dr. House: Fox's No. 1 drama, "House M.D.," is on call Super Bowl Sunday.

Fox announced Thursday that the hit medical skein, which stars Hugh Laurie as a cranky doc, had scored the plum postgame timeslot Feb. 3.

Nets usually wait until much closer to the big game before announcing which skein will be chosen for the showcase -- which always promises big viewer numbers. But Fox was looking to make a big splash at its upfront presentation Thursday afternoon. Fox Entertainment prexy Peter Liguori made the announcement while opening his speech at New York's City Center.

Fox scheduling chief Preston Beckman said the decision to put "House" there was born out of trying to grab the most ad dollars possible with the slot.

"Of all the shows we have, this is the biggest scripted one," Beckman said. "And to maximize revenue, you want to put a big show behind the Super Bowl."

Nets have avoided launching new shows in the post-Super Bowl slot for the most part (although Fox did so with "Family Guy" in 2000). Instead, webheads have recently chosen series that were already performing well -- and looking to jump to the next level.

That's what happened with "Grey's Anatomy" in 2006, when ABC turned what was a hit show into a monster hit show. This year, CBS tried the same thing with "Criminal Minds."

"House" doesn't necessarily need the boost: It's already a smash, nearly on par in the ratings most Tuesdays these days with "American Idol."

When Fox last aired the Super Bowl, in 2005, the net showed "The Simpsons" after the game -- along with a special preview of "American Dad."

The scheduling plan is also good news for NBC Universal TV Studio, which produces the show. "House" airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m.. It is exec produced by David Shore, Paul Attanasio, Katie Jacobs, Bryan Singer and Daniel Sackheim.

Not a great season finale. Pretty interested to see where they go with House's entire freakin' team supposedly gone.

House finally putting Foreman in his place as he goes out the door was great. Course now the next season is going to be a really confusing one since I'm not sure how they all come back or if any of them DO come back.

I guess House failing without them and them failing without House would be the only way I could think of.

I expect House to go through a new batch of understudies that continue to fail or he has no ability to work with because he's so used to those guys. They made a point to show Cuddy and House growing less and less snippy at each other and more understanding of where they are at in their quasi relationship. I look forward to that development as well.

Maybe the episode will have a CODE BLACK.

looking back on the year, the show continued to evolve and got past some of the lameness of the middle of the 2nd season. The show has pretty much been a hit week after week since the 2 parter with foreman getting sick last season. Laurie continues to impress me with his awesome embodiment of the House character and his timing is always spot on.

bring on season 4 (and you better not screw it up with new timeslots and have it canceled fox!)
