Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2005 1.) Seeing how WWE came out with the WM Anthology, would you guys buy a DVD Anthology Box Set of RR, SummerSlam, or SSeries? 2.) Seeing how Cena is still getting booed and that Batista is a huge guy better fit as a monster, should WWE turn both of them heel especially if they're heading into WM as the champs given the long reigns? Astro7x 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2005 Weird observation... So WWE can no longer use the WWF Logo or say WWF, but they still say it on reruns of shows like MadTV when wrestlers made guest appearences. I say its more of nobody caring than it actually being legal, but I noticed that today

I say its more of nobody caring than it actually being legal, but I noticed that today I think that it has to be directly marketed by WWE. MadTV is marketing themselves, so they can say WWF. billdynamite 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2005 I don't know what the general feeling is around these parts about Simon Dean, but I think he should get more TV time. I don't think anyone could play that character better. There, you heard me, I mark for Simon Dean when he comes down on his segway.

ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2005 Just wondering... How come (at least on Smackdown) the people who come to ringside wtih some people (like Cowboy Bob with Randy Orton) don't get announced?
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2005 I wouldn't mind seeing Anthologies of SummerSlam, Survivor Series, and Royal Rumble. I would say King of the Ring, but only a couple of them were any good.

Epic Reine 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2005 The Lung Blower is officially the most overused move in today's WWE. Maven, Rene Dupree, Carlito, Matt Striker, and now Orlando Jordan have all used it. Talk about protected finishers, sheesh.
Team Angle Pusher 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2005 Nice Fear Havoc, live PPV's are always fun. I just hope it won't suck as hard as last year. They had like 2 injuries and Maven/Shelton was 5 seconds long with 10 minute Maven promo. One thing I can guarantee you is that you'll see a Elimination Chamber match. Boo Cena please

So WWE can no longer use the WWF Logo or say WWF, but they still say it on reruns of shows like MadTV when wrestlers made guest appearences. I say its more of nobody caring than it actually being legal, but I noticed that today Vince McMahon doesn't own MadTV, so the lawsuit doesn't apply to them. Same way the newer edition of "Beyond the Mat" has the WWF scratch logo all over it, or if "Wrestling with Shadows" ever got a DVD release it'd have WWF all over it too. Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2005 Chavo Guerrero got HIUUUGE pop I liked the announcers saying "we've never seen Chavo do that before!" after Chavo hit the Gory Bomb for the win, seeing as it was a pretty regular part of his moveset. This is indeed true. "Wrestling with Shadows", which you can buy on DVD in the UK, does still have WWF in it. However, they have changed the packaging on the DVD. So it now says "World Wrestling Entertainment" on the back of the box instead of "World Wrestling Federation".

You figure someone would have told them it was a move Eddie's father invented. Of all the stuff the 'E tries to hide, the stupidity of their announcers should be one of them. Guest Ransome Report post Posted December 4, 2005 1.) Seeing how WWE came out with the WM Anthology, would you guys buy a DVD Anthology Box Set of RR, SummerSlam, or SSeries? I'd actually be more likely to buy a Summerslam boxset than Survivor Series. SS '91, '92, '98 and '02 are great, '94 is one of my favourite PPVs of all time, and you'd get classics matches like Hart vs Mr Perfect, Shawn vs Razor Ramon Ladder Match II, Hart vs Bulldog, Rock vs HHH Ladder match, HHH vs Shawn, and Angle vs Austin in one neat set. I can't see them releasing one, though. How ever many copies the WM Boxset sold, you'd have to imagine that a SummerSlam or Survivor Series boxset would only sell a fraction of that. haVoc 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2005 The early buyrate number is in for the Taboo Tuesday PPV. The show did about 215,000 buys on the first estimate, which is up about 10% from last year's show and is definitely a solid number. No Mercy came in at about 220,000 buys and is also up over last year's show.
