If the "old" ECW fans didn't shit on everything from day 1 maybe they wouldn't have done this.

There's also 0 point in having a show where you know the fans will shit on everything that even has an inkling of WWE in it. You do more harm than good to your product when you have to book a show for the live crowd that isn't even big to begin with......

 

All I'm saying is when you wanna be renegade fans and shit on everything, don't bitch when they make a business decision to not run there anymore.

We don't shit on everything just to shit on it. If I remember, that crowd was red hot for Tommy Dreamer & Sandman vs. Test & Mike Knox.

 

But Batista vs. Big Show was not something those fans came to see and if WWE wasn't smart enough to know that, they had no business digging ECW out of the grave.

 

I had a friend of mine who only watches wrestling here and there. He was at my place for One Night Stand 2006 and totally fucking loved it, as did I. He demanded to be over for the first TV show two days later, and he said, "What the fuck? This is nothing like what they did the other day" and never showed any drop of interest in seeing it again. The insight of a non-fan can speak wonders.

Wow, if WWE goes worldwide like that, they really need to pursue locking in WWE 24/7 as a cable company. They could air all the different territories' shows, have original programming for each territory, continue the current shows that are popular on 24/7, etc. Also, I think it would make Wrestlemania a huge event with all the crossover match-ups you could have.

 

It sounds like a longshot, but I believe it would still turn a profit. All they would need is some key defections from Japan and Mexico.

If ONS was to be held at Hammerstein again, it would make perfect sense to have Batista take on an original. After his eventual heel turn, Batista can bring up being booed mercilessly last time he was there despite being the babyface world champion. someone like Dreamer or Sandman would fit the bill

- Mistico worked Dean Malekno in his try out match for the WWE agents on Tuesday night in San Jose, CA, prior to the ECW/Smackdown tapings. According to reliable sources, agents were impressed with his work.

 

According To PWInsider.com mistico really impressed alot of wwe agents before he came in he was labeled as a lucha wrestler but he pulled out lots of submission moves and some American in ring psychology and PWI is reporting his chances of getting signed are higher than most people.

 

Sounds to me like Mistico had been preparing for this well before WWE ever called......looks like he wants to come to the states to me.

pith reminded me that I went into a wrestling chat for shits and giggles the other day and met the world's biggest Cena fan. She figured that Trump was going to pick Cena as his wrestler, even though Cena was defending his title against HBK. She liked all the good guys and hated all the bad guys. I asked who her favorite wrestler of all time was, and she said Stone Cold. She hates Shelton Benjamin because he acts like he is too good. I then told her that I was going to debut for the WWE last year as Shelton's cousin, but I blew my knee out in the tryout matches. She said she remembered seeing that match on Raw. I told her I didn't think it ever aired, but she was convinced she saw that match on Raw or somewhere on Raw.

Former WWE and WCW champion Hulk Hogan is currently in the Bahamas for the Anna Nicole Smith funeral which was held earlier today where about 100 guests showed up. Smith met Hogan at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Florida while attending the James Toney vs Sam Peter boxing match on 1/6. That is the same hotel in which she was found dead earlier last month.
