CAPPOTELLI ANNOUNCES TUMOR HAS GROWN

 

At tonight's 400th Ohio Valley Wrestling show, WWE developmental talent and Tough Enough 3 co-winner Matt Cappotelli had bad news about his condition while the entire OVW roster stood outside the ring. Cappotelli announced that his brain tumor has increased in size to 7-8 centimeters and will be having brain surgery in Boston, MA on May 1.

Flair isn't going bald, his hair is just thinning and it's not as thick as it used to be. That's why he wets it down now.

Is Timbaland going to be doing stuff for WWE themes now given their partnership or is this strictly for the music videos? Most of the current themes from either Johnson or the usual shitty acts like Saliva is tiresome or generic. I'm not sure how he'd use his style in conjunction with the wrestlers, but it'd be interesting at least on a trial basis.

On WWE's ECW website, they had an 8 day web-show detailing (apparently made by Joey Styles) an all (actually just mostly) ECW WrestleMania.

 

Seemed like a pretty decent card they made.

That would have been a pretty good card (and a couple of those are obviously still possible or have in the past) but I think a few changes would be needed. Specifically, Tazz against Lashley. I just think something like Douglas-Lashley would have been better since Douglas was a heat machine and could make anyone look over by his presence.

Well, that's possible.

 

But since Douglas is in TNA, I don't think that WWE wanted to give him too much credit.

 

Though I was surprised in the video where Tazz and Styles talk about the McMahon/Heyman/Bischoff match they had a New Jack mention.

Elijah Burke wasn't really injured during the main event of Tuesday's ECW show. He was just doing a really good sell job of his knee.

Both, fans and superstars were surprised to see RVD win the match at WrestleMania. RVD has been in and out of the dog house for playing hardball with the WWE on his contract negotiations. RVD’s contract is set to expire at the end of the summer.

 

The latest on negotiations between WWE and RVD are said to be going very well, which is the reason WWE didn’t bury him at WrestleMania. The general feeling backstage is that if he would have gotten buried it would sour negotiations.

 

The feeling is that RVD would be crazy to leave, he has more than enough tenure to have a great downside guarantee in the 400k per year range. That is being offered on his current contract renewal. The possibility of TNA matching that kind of offer is slim to none.

 

RVD is insisting on an extended leave from WWE, upon his contract renewal. Somewhere in the four to twelve month range. He is asking for time to recharge his battery, the full-time schedule is starting to wear him down quite a bit. By the sounds of it, WWE is willing to accommodate him on this request.

 

Management has hinted to RVD several times that if he stays, he will be part of the family beyond his retirement with merchandising, Hall of Fame possibility and DVD’s. Things that TNA cannot match in the long run.

 

So all in all, it looks like RVD may be sticking with WWE. However, we are still several months away and things can change.

I really hope RVD stays in WWE. I don't see the point in going to TNA. It's not like it sky-rocketed Angle's or Christian's careers.

Yeah, six months ago I would've been rallying for RVD to jump to TNA, but they seem to be in such a slump right now, and he'd probably get wasted under Russo and Co. Sounds like it would be best for him to stick with the E.
