I got the new WWE magazine in the mail the other day with Maria on the cover. Inside the interview is RVD and one of the questions has a reference to him being followed by ghosts. Someone asks about aliens following him and he just corrects them with ghosts and says something brief. Does anyone know anything on this? I'd never heard it before.

 

Also, in an interview with Balls, it talks about how he analyzes peoples AIDs tests before drinking their blood, along with his past in musical theater.

Two WON's ago, Dave mentioned that Dupree was asked to stop doing the dance (not in relation to his current ECW stint, but previous). I don't recall this story but it sounds pretty stupid on WWE's part, but that's not really news I guess.

Yeah, in his interview. The blood stuff, I think I heard of before when I first heard he was a practicing Satanist (which they didn't mention in the magazine). The musical theater stuff shocked me. It was the "Little Known Fact" part. He said he was in the choir in high school and did a whole bunch of musicals. He claims he can sing anywhere from low bass to high alto.

It has not been a stellar two weeks for the Spirit Squad in singles matches. The last one armed tied behind one’s back match was one I called years ago in Ft. Worth when I sit in for a week on World Class Wrestling and it was Freebird Buddy Jack Roberts vs. referee David Manning. That might be a WWE 24/7 nugget someday.

By the way, “King” Booker, lose the Lennox Lewis-like British accent. It’s about as genuine as a mother in law’s hug. That’s no knock on Booker’s wrestling ability but the faux accent is killing me. Maybe that’s the point.

I'm watching Armageddon 1999 and I notice that during the McMahon/HHH street fight, HHH tries to run Vince down with a car.

 

Do you think that this was a coded message referring to Austin being run down a month earlier? Possibly, they were planning to follow up on that and connect it to Austin but dropped it. Or was it an unrelated tactic?

You neglect that during that time period, they had a head writer who actually paid attention to things like foreshadowing and such. It's not a stretch to assume that they were doing that to make the connection.

As we noted on the PWInsider.com Elite hotline, Justin Credible's tenure with World Wrestling Entertainment's ECW brand is done. Credible was officially released this week, but as we've noted in recent hotlines for all intents and purposes, Credible had already been written off by the company. The former ECW World champion no showed a ECW taping and had little (or no) communication with WWE management afterwards. Credible had been calling different promoters this week looking for bookings, so it appears he was finally informed as WWE had not been able to get into contact with him to officially inform him of their decision.

Seriously, couldn't the great Vince McMahon figure out who's saying what then can 'em?

They tried that for the past few months; look how much TV time pure wrestling ability got him. If you're looking for somebody to get over based on their wrestling ability you're watching the wrong promotion.

 

And that Big Show shirt just reinforces my belief that the people making WWE shirts need to be fired. Who the fuck would wear that? Even Big Show wouldn't wear that atrocity.

WWE.com has announced the "Pick Your Poison" matches for next week's edition of Smackdown, with King Booker T selecting Bobby Lashley's opponent and vice versa. King Booker T will take on Batista, and Bobby Lashley will take on Fit Finlay on Smackdown.

Devin Cutting sent in the following. ... WWE.com is now reporting that the Pick Your Poison matches on Smackdown will be King Booker verses Finlay and Bobby Lashley verses Batista. Lashley is forcing Booker to wrestle one of Booker's own knights and Booker is forcing Lashley to wrestle Lashley's friend.

 

An hour ago, WWE.com listed Booker vs. Batista and Lashley vs. Finlay as being the matches. We'll have to wait and see if they "change their mind" about the matches again before the taping this Tuesday.
