Mrnoitaull Posted September 9, 2006 Report Posted September 9, 2006 I am looking to get spiderman included in my tattoo sleeve but I want to find a nice drawing of him. So im asking what is the best Spiderman depiction youve ever come across. It can be black/white or colored, as long as was drawing and not an actual live action photo. Thanks in advance
Steviekick Posted September 9, 2006 Report Posted September 9, 2006 Are you looking for a black or traditional costume picture?
ZGangsta Posted September 9, 2006 Report Posted September 9, 2006 You should go with the Scarlett Spider.
Sideburnious Posted September 9, 2006 Report Posted September 9, 2006 You should go with the Scarlett Spider.
Mrnoitaull Posted September 10, 2006 Author Report Posted September 10, 2006 I prefer the traditional spider
ZGangsta Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 Come on, like this wouldn't be sweet. He's got a hoodie for God's sake! Hoodies rule! Ok fine, you wan't the real Spiderman. Go with this one It totally won't date the tattoo at all. This one would look pretty tight Ok, for the 'real' costume, I like this pose (it's not a great picture)
starvenger Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 I'd look into McFarlane's Spider-Man #1 cover, although that one a) might take a while to do, b) might thus be costly, and c) might get lost on your "sleeve" - but that depends on placement, I suppose. Oh, and the fact that you don't have Johnny Yong Bosch as the greatest Power Ranger of all time... I'm gobsmacked.

Actually after looking at it, I think this one without the gay mechanical arms and in the normal costume would make a good tattoo.
starvenger Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 There's that Ringo variant cover for "The Other" as well...
Guest SpiderFan Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 I always liked this and just recently had it put on my arm. Looks pretty sweet.
Black Lushus Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 I always liked this and just recently had it put on my arm. Looks pretty sweet. great pic...i'd love to see the tatt, man!
Guest SpiderFan Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 I'll see if I can borrow a friends cam this week to get a pic of it.
pochorenella Posted September 11, 2006 Report Posted September 11, 2006 There's that Ringo variant cover for "The Other" as well... I second this one. Classic, no nonsense pose... And I also wanna see that Spidey tatoo coming out of the grave. Just too cool...
Guest Ninja Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 Cool new Spidey pic in black costume.
River City Rocker Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 I ran into a girl several years ago who had a classic old school image of Spider-Man tattooed on her left bicep. It looked like John Romita himself had done the tattooing, it was that decent. If you can, try to find a picture done by Romita. He was always my favorite Spider-Man artist, IMO.
Black Lushus Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 yeah, I'm not a McFarlane fan, but the Spider-Man #1 cover is a damn awesome picture.
Guest SpiderFan Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 Sorry for the quality, but here's the pic of one of my tattoos:
Guest SpiderFan Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 Thanks guys That was my fourth tattoo, and probably my favourite one.
