Click here to download the Loveline from last night with Jenna and James. I recorded it myself, and missed the first five minutes or so, but it should do. I took out all of the commercials as well and made each segment a separate .mp3 file. There are six .mp3 files in all.

Staples product placement? You have to be kidding me.

The best Office episode I've seen this season. The Andy/Dwight stuff was downright funny, and their confrontation at the end was great. Andy was really dickish when he started to talk to Angela with the kittens stuff. Kevin with the paper shredder was just great, with the salad part at the end.

Thank god the Jim/Pam/Karen stuff was kept suttle. That situation along with Roy not being a complete asshole is making things interesting when I thought they had already blown their load.

The Dwight/Andy stuff was funny but something just didn't feel right with this episode. I almost feel like this season has all been an epilogue to the real season that is just now starting with everyone coming together.

Edit: And Stanley's "look" at the other black guy was the most hilarious thing I've seen in a while.

That is what I was thinking.

Good episode though and of course Creed stole the show.

So both of you don't know the difference between a prologue and an epilogue? Remarkable.

There isn't a new episode next week, is there?

No. Happy Thanksgiving.

I think that you can watch it at nbc.com for free which is nice.

The Creed parts were amazing of course. I think that they should give him a little bit more. He's gold.

I liked the Dwight and Andy feud, especially with the final scene where Michael announced that Jim was "his" choice for number 2 and they immediately went after the #3 spot.

I don't know if it was just a matter of unrealistic expectations or what, but I wasn't enamored with last night's episode. It was good at times, but not nearly as great as I had thought it was going to be.

And I thought that Kevin & the shredder stole the show more than Creed, Dwight, Andy, etc. Sometimes the less over-the-top stuff amuses me more than the real extreme stuff does.

yes, the extended Lazy Scranton rules for the return of "A Michael Scott Joint" and "Great Scott!"

Jenna Fischer had a live blog last night after the show, which included this:

We have a ton of great episodes coming up. After Thanksgiving is an episode called "The Convict". This was written by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant (the creators of the British Office). It is a GREAT episode. Michael finds out that one of the Stamford employees is a former convict. Need I say more? This episode also has my favorite Pam/Andy scene!

Re: Deleted Scenes

I wish the season 2 DVD just stuck them into the episodes where they would've been had they not been deleted, so you could just watched the whole thing like that. Or at least have the option to toggle between TV episode and full episode. Watching eight minutes of various deleted scenes isn't as good as watching a 30-minute episode. Oh well.

I think that the problem with doing that would be that sometimes the deleted scenes are replaced with other material and you'd have to do a lot of editing that they probably didn't feel like doing. The Lazy Scranton edits as an example. Where the edits took place, there was a lot of other stuff put in so I don't think you could just pop the deleted scenes in and have it make sense.
