So, how does everybody see Jim vs Roy going down?

My scenario is Roy barging in on the entire office and confronting Jim about his feelings. Jim is obviously uncomfortable with Karen being there but he's not going to let Roy talk him down so he stands up for himself by making Roy look like he is completely clueless as to who Pam really is. Roy cold-cocks Jim and gets fired and Karen gets freaked the fuck out by Jim and maybe/maybe not breaks up with him.

Wow. great espisode.

Incredibly funny, but man Roy's freakout was intense. Especially after how drama-less everyone was all episode, Jim and Karen happy and cute, Pam cutely trying to be assertive. (Well really, can Jenna Fisher be not cute?) And then BAM like a kick to the nuts.

I was really liking him this season too. And man, that little epilogue was actually freakin' chilling.

And Dwight popping up in the car? Damn I laughed hard at that.

I don't see this happening, as Jim is always very weak with expressing his feelings. I do see him standing up to Roy, but more in the standard that's just what guys do. |And then he's gonna get socked.

Jim might have some seriously built-up anger towards Roy so I can see this being the one time that he nuts up and does something.

I'd also enjoy seeing Dwight interfere on Jim's behalf and possibly KO'ing Roy with some sort of karate maneuver. Jim having to live with the knowledge that Dwight saved him would be tremendous.

This was an interesting episode. The Roy thing was so out of left field that it left me sitting with my mouth open. Did not see that coming at all.

Karen became extremely likable with her busting Jim's balls. That was a nice touch. And Jim making nice with the CFO. Maybe he has a future with the company after all.

I'm not sure if Jim appreciated the ball-busting. I mean, he was laughing and stuff but I think there was some frustration there too.

Definitely. Either he's not quite clicking with her sense of humour, or he just doesn't want to.

I'd vote the latter.

What's the name of the song playing when Roy and Kenny were messing up the bar? I thought that part was hilarious.

"Carry on Wayward Son" by Kansas.

I agree. That was an intense scene. I liked how they showed Pam storm out of the bar like that, as if Roy's outbursts were normal and she has a routine ready for them.

I can't wait for the showdown between Roy and Jim.

Which can be connected to Anchorman, also Steve Carrell and Nancy Walls are making a cameo on Naked Trucker and TBones next week.

The end of the episode last night was great especially when Dwight popped up like the kid between bickering parents. Roy v Halpert is see as being probably being left to end of season as maybe Jim gets attacked from behind by Roy and his brother while walking to his car one evening (yes it's a cliched conclusion but it's a cliffhanger setup ala the Jim/Pam kiss last year).

I wonder, presuming there will be a Jim-Roy altercation, if they'll make any concession to the documentary style of filming.

Roy would have to be an idiot (of course, this is possible) to attack Jim in the office, or anywhere else, whilst there are cameras rolling.

Went to the party- met Rainn and Rashida.

Rainn was cool, although a bit weird. Rashida was really nice and stopped to talk to me and my friend- she laughed when I mentioned Boston Public. Rashida spent the whole party talking to everyone. Kenan Thompson was fliritng with me and then confessed to me that he had never seen the Office.

LOTC- I saw all of Arcade fire at the party, but didnt recognise a lot of them so i didn't talk to them

I especially made sure to watch SNl tonigh, and it was really pretty damn good!

With Rainn being weird: was he being weird, as in weird, or just in, oh shit, he's relly normal and low-key. Because the interviews I've seen him in, (albeit, two) he's just really low-key.

She was with a group of friends, so i didnt want to bother her too much. We wanted to get a picture with her but there was never a moment where she wasn't talking to someone.

also, Arcade Fire played two extra songs for the live audience. I was all set to hate a band from Montreal, but they were really good.

Also, Rashida is a smoker
